I was small through out school and bullied every time I was forced to change schools by my parents buying and selling our homes during the 60s and early 70s. To make a long story short, no child should feel afraid to go to any school. I went to boot camp and come out of the service with revenge on my mind. I found every one of the "punks" that had harrassed me and the ones who hadn't died (drugs, or incarcerated) I wanted to set the record straight. I was then over 6 foot and #220. I was surprised to see the same fear in their eyes that I had felt as a child. The bullying had changed me, but I decided to not let it rule my adult life.The school systems knows it is going on but unless a complaint is filed there is no record of it happening until it is too late.
