Existing could mean a street already there, not making a new street. There is all kinds of ways to interpret the word existing just like there is so many ways to twist the word improvement.

Your correct, because they could buy gold plated street signs and be within what the ballots says, as it would be covered under
street imporvement.

At a recent “Vote Yes” rally, union leader and option tax supporter Al Hartl said “there’s several different ways to approach that and the one cent option tax is the least harmful to those families.

I can remember when unions used to fight sales taxes as the most regressive tax that there is, the poorer you are the more you pay of what you have. How times change, either it was BS back then or it is BS now. Cant be right both ways.

Volunteers are okay when no professional are available, but would you rather someone with a little first aid training or a professional who knew more of what they are doing.

You can be a volunterer because that is just a part time thing for you. You don't do it full time. Had you been doing it full time you would want some pay for it.

The kids are just in training to play football at the U of I. But what were the cops doing giving blood tests to underage kids. Did they have parents permission?
