I go to a lot of construction job sites for road work and things. Trucks make sense for those to haul a lot of gear and equipment. But I don't understand engineers driving trucks with an orange cone or two in them.. I drive my Civic to all the job sites and never had any problems, not even a flat tire.

"And a decade-long shift to the political right in the Netherlands has already led to minor changes in the policy"
because too many people are forgetting to vote ;)
This is meant to be a sarcastic joke and nothing more. I have no clue what kind of government they have.

I had a similar situation in high school, a kid wouldn't leave me alone. So I threw him over a chair and put him in a headlock after he hit me with something in class. He said he wanted to finish it after school, and I said no thanks I don't need to take on the football team. He said all I need is my gun, i avoided him for the rest of the year.... So if I could give one piece of advice it would be retaliation isn't always the best option.

It is 21 years to start, but likely because of his crime they can keep him in jail indefinitely after the 21 years. Not sure if they look at it in 5 year increments after the initial 21 years. Let's just hope the way it works out keeps him locked up for life.
