I am beginning to get the impression that the far left are the masters of self projection. Anything they accuse others of doing or being is really just a projection of the negative aspects of their own personality that they hate and are constantly having to suppress. Its the sort of thing that results when you base most of your political philosophy and decision making processes on emotional reactions and not logic and reason.

Hey if she is going to go on TV and act like an idiot then she deserves to be treated like one. As for the whole Democrats using the race card as a weapon thing you are right when you say the only defense against it is to stand your ground and call them on it. The race card only works because people are scared of the stigma of being called a racist whether it is true or not. In fact it is a fairly standard left wing tactic when they are having trouble backing up their positions with facts and logic to resort to playing the man and not the ball. By accusing or comparing their opponent to someone or something so hyenas (Hitler, Fascist, Racists, sexist, homophobic, Baby killer, Warmonger, etc ) it is meant to shock their opponent into backing down for fear of being for ever branded as such. Its like a cornered rat lashing out violently in a last ditch attempt to save itself by acting so crazy that it might give the opponent pause long enough to enable the rat to escape.

Just be very careful if any ACORN renta mobs show up. They are very experienced in whipping up a spectacle and causing disruptions just like the Nazi Brown shirts of the 1930's. Organisers need to develop strategies to deal with these people quietly and effectively should they appear at Tea Parties and start causing problems.

I get the distinct impression that the Democrat leadership and the Obama administration are intent on trying to create a patronage style system of government on a federal level similar to the Governments of communist China, the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago. The idea is that through the mass intervention of government in all aspects of peoples lives and business they can create a voting base that is dependant on making sure that the Democrat party are kept in power in order to ensure that people keep receiving their entitlements and that they are permitted to succeed in business without government interference.

I was just reading about how the MSM is refusing to do storey's or give coverage to Tea Parties. So I just thought that if Mohamed wont go to the Mountain then the Mountain should go to Mohamed. You know how the morning shows usually have crowds out the front of their studio's in New York? Well I think Tea Party protesters should be crashing those events on a regular basis and holding protests right out side these media organisations studios and offices to let them know that if they are not part of the solution then they are part of the problem.

I read this description of Conservatism somewhere on the Internet that I thought I would share with you all. I think we should be doing what Glenn suggested the other day and hold our elected officials to the same standard that we hold members of the military to, by assessing their performance during their time in office based on the nine principles and twelve values. One way this could be done is to create a web page that has a data base of all members of Congress, The Senate, and White House and an assessment of their individual performance over their career similar to the after action reports and assessments done by military commanders on their troops at the end of a mission just like the ones Glenn was discussing on Tuesdays show. That way members of the public would be able to look up a particular politician examine their record, performance and commitment to service based on the nine principles and twelve values and see whether they measure up to our standard and are worth supporting.
