Thank you! Sorry it took me a while to reply to this. I actually painted the mirror directly with chalkboard paint. :)

Hi Beth -- Thank you! I cut mine to have a bit of an overhang. My cuts were a tiny bit off when I lined them all up. I used caulking to fill in the gaps. It worked great, and I don\'t notice it at all. :)

I love the movie idea! I'm adding that to the list. Thanks, Erin! I agree, the friends party is sort of more fun anyway! :)

Heather! I read your comment and thought to myself -- no way, how can there be another cheapest person on the planet named Heather that just got an iPhone too! I actually had to double check and make sure I read that right. So glad you commented!! I feel like I have a kindred spirit out there now. :)

Thank you! No, I didn\'t remove the metal frame before gluing the wood. The metal frame is thin enough that it doesn\'t cause a problem with adhering. I didn\'t do the inside of the cabinets. I had thought about using contact paper and covering the shelves, but I never got around to it. So I just gave them a really good scrub and called it a day. :)

The mirrors were already adhered to the wall when the house was constructed. It looks like they also used a construction adhesive to adhere the mirrors to the wall. That construction adhesive is some pretty heavy duty stuff! It'll hold almost anything.
