Champagne football can wait. This season is about results and results only. We're getting them. In the words of Thatcher, but this time said a little more appropriately, "just rejoice".

After the Hull performance, in which he was outstanding for around 20 minutes and, together with Green, effectively won us the match I am keeping a lower profile. My contention would be that, a game or two down the track, he'll revert to type and continue to underwhelm. Would LOVE to be wrong though......

Playoff place and ultimate failure is what I predicted before a ball had been struck and I have seen absolutely nothing to make me change that opinion. Make no mistake, we are categorically NOT one of the top two in this league on the evidence of the first third of the season.
Just about 6 for e every player from me (average) with Cole and Nolan getting 5s and Baldock and JT gaining a 7.
