East Portland Blog : Amanda Knox: "I'm not a killer"

Dliljengren, 1. All the witnesses who were present when Amanda Knox was questioned on 5 November 2007, including her interpreter, testified under oath that she voluntarily accused Diya Lumumba of murdering Meredith. They all stated that Knox was treated well. The following day, Knox repeated this false and malicious allegation against Lumumba in her handwritten note to the police. Nobody coerced Knox into writing this note. She even asked for a pen and paper to write it. It should be noted that Knox didn't recent her accusation the whole time Lumumba was in prison despite the fact that she admitted that it was her fault he was in prison in an intercepted conversation with her mother on 10 November 2007. 2. The notion that the entire police force of Italy and all the journalists from Britain hate Americans and seek to blame them for everything is deeply racist and xenophobic. You seem to be forgetting that an Italian man was also convicted of Meredith's murder. Do you think all Americans who commit crimes outside of America are innocent simply because they are American? 3. You need to start living in the real world: husband murder wives, wives murder husbands, parents murder children, children murder parents, people murder roommates etc. Seemingly normal people commit horrific and senseless murders. Google the Manson Girls, Laurie Ann Swank, and Christian Longo. 4. Murder trials have never been decided on the defendant's physical appearance. Murderers come from all walks of life and you cannot distinguish them by their physical appearance. Cesare Lombroso's theory that criminals have particular physiognomic attributes was discredited a long time ago. Make sure you read the judges' sentencing report once it's published in English. It will be available for download from TJMK and PMF shortly.

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were unanimously found guilty of the murder of Meredith Kercher because the evidence against them was overwhelming. They repeatedly told the police a pack of lies in the days after Meredith's murder. On 5 November 2007, Knox and Sollecito were confronted with proof that they had lied and were given another opportunity to tell the truth. However, they both chose to tell the police even more lies. Sollecito's new alibi was shattered by computer forensic evidence and his mobile phone records. Knox accused an innocent man, Diya Lumumba, of murdering Meredith despite knowing full well that he was completely innocent. She didn't recant her false and malicious allegation against Lumumba the whole time he was in prison. She admitted that it was her fault that Lumumba was in prison in an intercepted conversation with her mother. Knox's account of what happened on 2 November 2007 is contradicted by her mobile phone records. Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito both gave multiple conflicting alibis. Neither Knox nor Sollecito have credible alibis for the night of the murder despite three attempt each. At the trial, Sollecito refused to corroborate Knox's alibi that she was at his apartment. Rudy Guede's bloody footprints led straight out of Meredith's room and out of the house. He didn't lock Meredith's door, remove his trainers, go into Filomena's room or the bathroom that Meredith and Knox shared. He didn't scale the vertical wall outside Filomena's room or gain access through the window. The break-in was clearly staged. This indicates that somebody who lived at the cottage was trying to deflect attention away from themselves and give the impression that a stranger had broken in and killed Meredith. Guede had no reason to stage the break-in and there was no physical evidence that he went into Filomena's room. The scientific police found a mixture of Amanda Knox's DNA and Meredith's blood on the floor. There was no physical evidence that Rudy Guede went into the blood-spattered bathroom. However, the scientific police found irrefutable proof that Knox and Sollecito tracked Meredith's blood into this bathroom. Amanda Knox’s DNA was found mingled with Meredith’s blood in three different places in the bathroom: on the ledge of the basin, on the bidet, and on a box of Q Tips cotton swabs. Knox's DNA and Meredith's blood had united into one single streak on the basin and bidet which means they were deposited simultaneously. Sollecito left a visible bloody footprint on the blue bathmat. According to two imprint experts, the woman's bloody shoeprint on the pillow under Meredith's body matched Knox's foot size. The bloody shoeprint was incompatible with Meredith's shoe size. Knox's and Sollecito's bare bloody footprints were revealed by luminol in the hallway. Knox’s DNA and Meredith’s DNA was found mixed together in one of the bloody footprints. An abundant amount of Raffaele Sollecito's DNA was found on Meredith's bra clasp. Sollecito must have applied considerable pressure to the clasp in order to have left so much DNA. The hooks on the clasp were damaged which confirms that Sollecito had gripped them tightly. Amanda Knox's DNA was found on the handle of the double DNA knife and a number of independent forensic experts - Dr. Patrizia Stefanoni, Dr. Renato Biondo and Professor Francesca Torricelli - categorically stated that Meredith’s DNA was on the blade. Sollecito knew that Meredith's DNA was on the blade which is why he twice lied about accidentally pricking her hand whilst cooking. The defence experts were unable to prove that there had been any contamination. Alberto Intini, head of the Italian police forensic science unit, pointed out that unless contamination has been proved, it does not exist. Amanda Knox voluntarily admitted that she involved in Meredith's murder in her handwritten note to the police on 6 November 2007. She stated on at least four separate occasions that she was at the cottage when Meredith was killed. She also claimed that Sollecito was at the cottage.

Breaking News : Mobster Luciano Aviello: I Can Prove Amanda Knox Is Innocent

Luciano Aviello has a history of making such claims. They always turn out to be false. Judge Federico Cafiero described him as "completely unreliable". Aviello's account of what happened to Meredith is completely contradicted by the established facts. The fact that the defence teams are relying on the ridiculous claims of a convicted child killer and a convicted mobster shows that they are desperately clutching at straws.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Knox's Christmas wish: warm socks, and freedom | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | News

Hi Climbbike, Everything I wrote is true. Amanda admitted she was present when Meredith was murdered in her handwritten note to the police on 6 November. Patrizia Stefanoni stated that Meredith's DNA was on the blade of the double DNA knife and Amanda's DNA was on the handle. Renato Biondo provided independent confirmation that the forensic investigation was carried out correctly and the findings were accurate and reliable. How do you know that Amanda was locked in a room for hours? Please quote your sources. Don't quote Curt Knox because he wasn't there and he told the media that Amanda was smacked around by the police, which was later denied by Amanda's lawyer. "They made her sign documents written in French which she didn't even know what they said." I think you mean Italian. I recommend doing a little research into the case before you embarrass yourself in public. Take a look at the True Justice For Meredith Kercher website: http://truejustice.org/ee/index.php It's a non-profit website and the owners don't have a secret relationship with the family of the prime suspect. Kind regards, Harry

There are two excellent websites about the Meredith Kercher case: True Justice For Meredith Kercher: http://truejustice.org/ee/index.php Perugia Murder File: http://perugiamurderfile.freeforums.org/index.php ALL the judges who have been involved in the case: Judge Claudia Matteini, the judges at the Italian Supreme Court, judge Massimo Riccarelli, and judge Paolo Micheli all thought there were serious indications of Amanda Knox's and Raffaele Sollecito’s guilt and refused to grant them bail on the grounds that they are mentally unstable, dangerous and could reoffend. The case against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito is formidable. There are 13 pieces of forensic evidence that link Amanda and Raffaele to the crime, including Amanda's DNA on the handle of the knife found at Raffaele's apartment and Meredith's DNA on the blade, and Amanda's bare footprints set in Meredith's blood and Raffaele's DNA on Meredith's bloodied and cut bra. Amanda and Raffaele knew precise details about Meredith's body which they could only have known if they had been present when Meredith was murdered. Amanda herself admitted she was present when Meredith was murdered in her handwritten note to the police on 6 November. Amanda and Raffaele not only gave conflicting witness statements, but also gave completely different accounts of where they were, who they were with and what they were doing on the night of the murder. Respected NBC crime analyst Clint Van Zandt made the following comments: "...there is a difficult road ahead for the two remaining suspects. I too believe that the forensic evidence and, in my case, especially the indicated behavior of the two suspects was highly telling." In the light of the judges’ decisions so far and the forensic evidence which was independently confirmed as accurate and reliable, it looks extremely unlikely that Amanda and Raffaele will be found not guilty.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Knox\'s family: Stolen letters, lies and distortion mucking up case | KOMO News - Seattle, Washingto

Amanda Knox's PR company/Friends of Amanda have built the defence of Amanda Knox around a number of lies: 1. Amanda Knox was interrogated all night and was smacked around by the police. 2. Her confession that she was at the cottage on the night of the murder was thrown out by the Italian Supreme Court. 3. The Double DNA knife has been essentially ruled out 4. There was no evidence of sexual assault and therefore Meredith's murder was not a sex game that went wrong. 5. The crime scene was violated or compromised. 6. The European press have misrepresented Amanda Knox's character and gave her the nickname Foxy Knoxy.
Amanda Knox gave multiple alibis and lied repeatedly to the police. The Italian Supreme Court noted that Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were reluctant to cooperate with the Italian authorities and that they had lied.
