I understand the frustration expressed in some performances but too many on here forget the fact that he is the second highest scorer in the team (8) after Cole with 9.
We are quick to have a go at the press for not letting facts getting in the way of a story, but are we not as bad sometimes?

I was in favour of the original bid to go to the OS as the reasons for staying at UP are purely emotional. A sense of history and atmosphere. Not easy to dismiss but can we afford the luxury of history alone?
The OS on the other hand is a decision of the head. A new arena, a vastly superior infrastructure, a great attraction for new supporters and players alike. Financially a good bet for gaining better sponsors, improved marketing possibilities and not least, more seating to fulfil our future requirements.
But the change to a tenancy agreement with restrictions could sway the argument back to UP. Until we know the detail of this arrangement and whether there are alternatives such as an enlarged UP with an improved infrastructure, the jury is out.
What we cannot afford is to do nothing.

But it is difficult to sell your worst players to another club, they are just as able to see their weaknesses as we do. Conversely it is, of course, much easier to sell emerging talent.
You point out those who have gone but are they getting regular first team football? In the cases of Hines and Stanislas they are not even though they are at a less successful club.
Finally, as we are now restricted in the size of the first team squad and the number of subs, the opportunity to use / keep the sort of squad we had in the past is not possible, let alone the ability to afford them. So the sad fact is that the club has to be more demanding of those who aspire to make the grade. Regretably, it is a tougher trade today

On a more serious note, at least he seems to have some talent in front of goal and has played at a reasonable level, so who knows what he may do for us?
