Big Hollywood : Breitbart's Keynote Address To The First National Tea Party Convention

Andrew Breitbart is always on point with everything he says. He's like a post-ironic American with the manly body hair of Thomas Magnum and the poignant commentary of Vin Scully, destined to enlighten the MSM of the threat of The Hidden Imam.

Big Hollywood : Fort Hood: Wise Words From Michael Yon

I don't know if this is an inappropriate sentiment, but I hope they don't pre-empt Red Eye for a second time this week. I don't know how necessary it is to have a 7th straight hour of "breaking news" coverage at 3:00 in the morning.

Action Jackson is a film John Nolte should write an article about here on Big Hollywood. That film, and Collision Course with Jay Leno.

Big Hollywood : Open Thread Saturday

Shane "tribute" or not, I've seen pretty much every Clint Eastwood film from 1982 until 1993, and Pale Rider is one of his stronger efforts from this era of his career; it's a hell of a lot better than Firefox, City Heat, Pink Cadillac or The Rookie. Although for an "R" western, it's pretty tame.

Big Hollywood : 'Terminator Salvation': Will There Be Ewoks?

I fear an over-emphasis on "Transformers-like" CGI special effects, and a toning down of the violence and emotional story will be the downfall of this film. The amount of angst and dystopia in parts 1 and 2 is what marked those films as mature and prescient stories that keeps them famous and praised to this day, the more easy-going T3 is already semi-forgotten in the Bourne-era mess of action fare. If T4 takes a shallow Transformers-like PG-13 teenage blockbuster approach with too much emphasis on a narcissistic Bale, the franchise WILL BE AS DEAD AS DISCO.

Big Hollywood : My Real Time With Bill Maher

Despite my dislike for Maher and my hatred for his audience, I am glad you went on his show and didn't back down, and I'm glad I tuned in to see you on it. Actually, i'm always disappointed when I hear conservatives say "I would never go on Maher's show". Dennis Miller says that all the time on his radio show and it bugs me every time. Congrats for fighting the good fight Breitbart.

Big Hollywood : Photos surface from Clint Eastwood's new movie THE HUMAN FACTOR - A solid bet to be in the Best Pict

Where is Spike Lee now huh? I'm guessing at home bitterly attempting to channel 1993, back when he still had a career.

Big Hollywood : Breitbart on 'Real Time With Bill Maher'

This Dyson character tries to cloak the hollowness of his message with big words and fast talk, and the braindead Real Time audience just eats it up clapping not knowing what the hell he just said other than it 'sounded good'. And BREITBART, great move reminding Bill (and more especially his brainwashed audience) about Rush and crew coming to Maher's defense back in 2001. I liked to see Bill stumble a bit on that point.

Big Hollywood : When 'Freedom' And 'Choice' Are Neither

The politicians (mostly on the left) are always coming up with more and more new rules and guidelines to tie down freedom and values, this is to be expected and is nothing new. What is more frustrating is when so-called 'artistic realms' like the movies begin pushing an increasingly ridiculous definition of what is 'politically correct' and don't want to make a move that might offend some obscure sub-sect of society. Being Free to Choose between Michael Moore and Sean Penn is not freedom or choice.

Big Hollywood : Review: Last House On The Left (2009)

Alot of these 'remakes' seem like the movie makers are both running out of ideas, and are too afraid even to take chances with contrived sequels, it's the safest of the safe bets. Rehashing these stories with a new cast of hot faces and some CG to show how much 'better we can do everything today' is not very interesting to me as a viewer. Doing remakes is like treading water, somebody needs to dive into a new idea and actually take a chance, because that way the cast/crew might actually put some effort into the project. I can't comment on this particular remake because I haven't seen it and probably wont.

Big Hollywood : Open Thread: Andrew Breitbart on 'Real Time With Bill Maher' -- Tonight: 10pm EST/ 7pm PST

The only thing worse than Bill's lame jokes and that Dyson character giving a sermon-lecture, is that Real Time audience. They are further to the left than anyone on stage tonight; even Maher's Obama monologue jokes caused them to get all confused and flustered.
