I'm with Jesse. Believe it or not, I'd pay YOU to work with you.

(And I could go all day on the Love topic).

So about a year ago, my dad and I couldn't get our kite to fly (yes, I still fly kites). Apparently it wasn't heavy enough (I don't get it either). So us resourceful country folk tied a stick to it. And she flew beautifully from there on out. All that to say, imagine a 43 mph diving kite with a giant twig tied to it. Needless to say, we had about a 50 yard radius of empty beach around us. Bottom line: Fingerpointing and being picked on by strangers < having a majority of the beach to ourselves.

Can I borrow Tripp this Thanksgiving? My family does the whole eat and sleep thing. We could use some excitement...

I don't have a blog and I still feel the need to tell people I'll only be communicating two times a week. Funny how life catches up with you. I need to follow your lead actually. Can you be proud of someone you don't know?

Anyway, hope your July is everything you need it to be!

I could write a novel of my thoughts on this. None of them worth much. And most of them contradictory... Seeing as how my grandpa is a Southern Baptist preacher, and how my mom recently became convicted to never drink again, yet I go to a church where some of the small groups have been known to have wine together. But I will spare you because this is your blog and this is supposed to be a "comment." I can't promise anything though. What can I say, I have a knack for being superfluous. I'm sorry in advance.

The way I see it is this: when the issue becomes more about protecting those who are uncomfortable with drinking rather than the actual act of drinking, then it's all legalism to me. People becoming too concerned with the letter of the law than with the spirit of the matter. Being a stumbling block is one thing. I firmly believe you need to be aware of the people around you and their circumstances. But to judge someone's character or "walk" by the beer they hold in their hand, puh-lease. Forgive me for being so annoyed.

Sin is everywhere. But you can't eliminate sin by eliminating the objects. It's a matter of the heart and spirit, you know? Anyway, the most helpful verse I've found is Colossians 2, starting around verse 8 (But I'm a proponent of reading in context, so let's make that all of Colossians 2). Especially v.20-the end.

I'm wishing I had something funny to say right now, but I've got nothin. I do love your self-convos though. They're brilliant.

Favorite song: The Way You Make Me Feel. Well, because of the way it makes me feel.

Favorite dance move: Any of his little Gumby leg moves pretty much do it for me everytime.

Favorite Video: Black or White. It speaks for itself. (On a side note, it seems MJ doesn't look at explosions either. But he does walk through them).

Pogs. I've sat here for 20 minutes now looking for an appropriate description. Turns out there isn't one.

Atreyu from the Never Ending Story. Went horseback riding the other day and got stuck in the mud. No one seemed to understand my yells for "Artax."

OK, I'm gonna need a response on this next one if anyone remembers... Orbitz... the drink. The creepy one with the little balls floating around in it. Made by Clearly Canadian (which by the way, is another subject altogether)... Anybody?

Brilliant.

Happy 100th! I'm proud to say that I've read every single one of your posts. All in one sitting (not so proud of that one). And laughed out loud on more than one occasion. Like I've said before, that humor of yours is Jesus-esque. And for that, I should be thanking YOU. Not the other way around. You bring joy (and unproductiveness... wait, did I just make that word up?) to otherwise boring work days.

Consider your request to share your blog with others, done and done! Except I'll use Twitter as my means of dissemination (Not to discredit your lovely email outline, of course).

OK OK, so it has no metallic parachute pants nor is it a goat that sounds like a man, but it gets the job done.
