I agree 100%. There was a time when people of color were treated less than human, Native Americans "Inians" were killed for scalps, their land was taken and now few of the bolldlines of the tribes remain. African Americans "Blacks" were bought and sold as slaves and were treated as second class citisens for way too many years. These acts should be remembered so that it never happens to any group in this country again but the time has come to make dterminations of people by thier actions and how they interact with others. What is on the inside is much more important than physical apearence.

I too am also scared for our country. I have feared more attacks from terrorists but for the first time in my life I am honestly affraid of our government.

1) I wish communities would gather to discuss problems and possible solutions again (as was done in past generations) 2) Actually get to know your neigbors. 3) Attend your local town/ City councel meeteings. 4) Write letters or emails to your representavies. 5) Show respect for others. 6) Spend time with your children and teach them Manners. 7) Paricipate in comunity service. 8) Protect our borders. 9) Keep our military well trained and well eqipped. 10) Take the time to read and unserstand our Constutuion and the Bill Of Rights. No, this alone will not solve all of our nations problems but it would be a good way to initiate change from the wlll of the people. Oh yes, please exercise your respnsibility to vote in every election.

Yea, we all need to band together to take back our Constitutional rights but it can't be done while fighting over political parties. We will have to come together as freedom loving Americans who refuse to wave goodbye to our basic rights and freedoms. Let the politicians on the far right feud with the ones on the far left while the majority of us come together in the center and reaclaim our Constutional rights.

I coudn't agree more. Term limits would make our elected officials work in DC. My only question is how many voters will be willing to vote out house and senate leaders who have used their senority to serve on, and chair key commities. The days of elected officials actually voting the way yheir constituants want is over. these officaials vote for their party and no longer vote for the people that elected them. Both Republicans and Democrats have lost all backbone to vote for what is right for our country and vote for what will advance their political status.
