If by integrity, you mean when Antonio "forgot the tan paint and then swore to God (nod, nod) he didn't do it on purpose. Wow.
More of the same...meaning good design. Dan could join the ranks of David B., Carter, Candice, etc. and give us "what looks nice." Yes, that's what most people tune in to HGTV for. As for me, I don't want to see a show that shows me what I may or may NOT do. I want to see the ones that are GREAT ideas that I want to copy.
Excellent post...Sums up my thoughts and obviously those of the vast majority of Design Star viewers!
Entertaining and with no design. I thought if you wanted entertaining you went to another channel. HGTV is losing it's focus.
Are you kidding???? David is genius!
If by the same you mean, good design, then you're right. Isn't that what HGTV was supposed to be about. Oh well, I guess they're changing what they stand for. Time for me to tune in elsewhere.
Engaging??? You and I have different ideas of what "engaging" involves. The backyard incident was an example of bad communication of which Antonio was a part. Dan made a mistake, but as far as I'm concerned the whole team made errors in execution and communication. Ultimately, the challenge was bad. The goal of this season was to create challenges that a "rush to finish a HUGE task" mentality...not "let's see what great design ideas you have."
That was unbelievable. There was nothing original in Antonio's work. I could care less that Antonio offers a different hosting style. I am looking for great design and only Dan brought that to the table...How sad! You've lost this fan.
