This green mask thing triggered another visual for me: the Klan gathered round another object full of extra heat, their true identities hidden, and instead of the racist plans of these white-clad terrorists, we awake to see the human-race wide plans of the green-clad terrorists. And as with the Klan, who distorted an object of reverance into a symbol of their desire to subjugate, so we have the Earth itself falsely distorted into a symbol of their desire to subjugate.
