Breitbart.com : US paints false picture of Afghan war: officer

Both parties are in it for their own personal gain. Both suck up to corporations for "campaign donations", which are nothing less than bribes to sell their office to the highest bidder. Both let corporations run revolving doors on Federal agencies which were created to protect citizens from corporate skulduggery. A pox on both their houses.

He's got it backwards. Military authority flows DOWN from the top. The President of the US is the Commander-in-Chief. The "buck" stops with him. The Military Brass follow HIS orders to the letter. Failure to do so would result in immediate court martial and or expulsion from the Service. They can NOT wily nilly chose to obey this order and not that one for their own personal or political reasons. That is how it should be if the citizens of the USA don't want military coups taking over. Rogue officers are quickly disciplined. Therefore, all policies and actions taking place in Afghanistan are the direct result of commands issued from the Commander-in-Chief, the POTUS, and ONLY the POTUS.

Breitbart.com : Google, Facebook battle Indian criminal charges

That's probably exactly what the financial interests behind this court action want. India has 1/6th of the world's population. IF an Indian competitor to Google & social networking could get them excessively fined or blocked, the competitor would have India to themselves. It would be even better if Google blocked Indian ISPs from accessing their servers in retaliation for the court action. Then the Indian competitors could claim victim status, or at least say they weren't responsible for the loss of Google, G+, Bing, Facebook, etc..., while they happily cash in.

Naked Security : Second Dutch teenager arrested for WikiLeaks-related DDoS attacks

Exactly! And a "proxy" is nothing more than just another Windows box that has been easily compromised. The real crime here is that Microsoft's OS, up to and including Win7, is so promiscuous that even a script kiddie can compromise it. A lot of gamers using Windows think themselves 3l33t hackers because they download some VB exe or shell script from a warez website and follow the readme instructions blindly.

Rather than excellent investigative work by police "experts", I've read that it was his "mum" who outed him to the police, probably because he was shooting off his mouth bragging about things he never really did and it scared his mum.
Breitbart.com : Russia media slams \'unconvincing\' spy scandal

The FBI (and who knows what other agencies) have been investigating this spy ring for nine years, and then finally bust them on charges of failing to register as a foreign agent? That's lame. The spy ring seem too inept to be real. More than likely that spy ring is a decoy meant to distract the FBI's attention from a more stealthy group of Russian spies who really know how to do covert work. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that real Russian agents and/or Marxists are already embedded in all branches of our government and in many profit and non-profit corporations. Let's see .... Congress has an 80+ member "Progressive Caucus", Obama taught "community organizers" using self-avowed Communist Saul D Alinsky's book, "Rules for Radicals", the ACLU was founded to defend Communists from charges of subversion, the Judicial system is filled with judges who legislate from the bench, plans to dictate what Americans eat ... The list is endless. The government and the corporations have combined their attacks and have left little of the Declaration, Constitution or Bill of Rights intact.

Breitbart.com : UK University to probe integrity of climate data

"One chain of e-mails does not undo scientific consensus which is broadly based and relatively universal," Miliband said. I downloaded the files and have read a large portion of them. They "peer reviewed" each other's papers. They colluded with JoC and other journals to prevent "deniers" from publishing or peer reviewing, then on their website "realclimate" they ridicule scientists with research disagreeing with AGW by asking why they never get published. They violated the British FOIA and colluded with the gov agency in charge of FOI to prevent requests from being honored. Then, when they heat was on they colluded to delete relevant data. The downloaded files were in directories under a root directory called "FOIA". Either the directories were on the CRU hard drives with that designation or the whistle blower, realizing that the CRU folks were going to delete emails and data, made a copy, sometime in the afternoon of Nov 12, 2009, using that name as an indication as to why he/she did it. I've only read a hundred or so of the 1,000 emails, but what I've read is proof of fraudulent research, trimming, cooking, dry labing, and the commission of a felony in violating the FOIA. Internally, they agree that the Sun influences the Earth's temperature. They even supplied Sidney temperature data and a Mathematica script to prove to themselves that the 11 year Solar cycle influence of Sydney's temperatures. To the public they extol the "accuracy" of their claim that CO2 is entirely responsible for AGW by citing the many "proxies" they use to support the Hockey Stick. Internal emails show they don't believe tree-ring studies, mud samples or ice cores reliably relate to palaeoclimate temperatures at all. The "HARRY_READ_ME.txt" is a 700kb file with a running account of how they treat their "data" and compute their graphs. It's a disgusting display of hubris and arrogance but clearly explains why they don't want folks to see the original data or their real methods and calculations. They started using what they call "synthetic" data, so convinced were they of their political position. The emails also reveal, very clearly, especially in the exchange with the GreenPeace activist, that AGW is ALL about "the agenda" and they agreed with each other that their agenda was to help the WTO in its mission of globalization and redistribution of wealth. The military collects and used surface and atmospheric temperature data to make flight paths of its missiles as accurate as possible, before the advent of GPS. These extremely accurate historical measurements were an average of 0.01 degrees lower than the CRU data. Also, they interfered with the attempts to create a hockey stick line, so the CRU called them "cold biased" and threw them out. These people called their research "Deliverables", as if they could guarantee in advance that the "data" would prove their A Priori claim that the Earth is warming up and CO2 is responsible. TRULY DISGUSTING. In 1988 NOVA presented a program, "Do Scientists Cheat?" and concluded that 48% of scientists engage in falsifying their data to some degree, and some even dry lab it. The CRU has raised that percentage considerably.

the Tux Geek : Can A Linux OS Get Infected By Viruses, Malware?

1% Market share? You've been drinking Microsoft's sock puppet Kool-Aid (NetApplications). Ballmer himself does not believe that the Linux desktop market share is so low. In a talk given last February he put up a graphic which showed that the Linux desktop market share was bigger than Apple's, and Apple's retail channel figures put it's desktop market share at around 10%. http://www.osnews.com/story/21035/Ballmer_Linux_B... So, if Apple's is 10% and Linux is bigger, I'd put it between 10-15%. by now. Also, I've been running the KDE4 desktop for over a year, and it has been out about two years. Why do the latest pictures of the Win7 desktop look so much like my KDE4.2.4 desktop? MS "Innovation"?

I agree. A Russian professor predicted that the USA would break up into 5 or 6 independent regions before the end of this year. I believe he predicted that because he is aware of Marxist 5th column agents in this country trying their best to trigger such an armed revolt, or revolution, probably posting "let's start shooting" messages in forums like this. Needless use of firearms would greatly benefit Russia, China and Americans who would to replace our Republic with a Socialist State, and our Constitution with the UN's version. Russia would love to assist militarily any Marxist group or leadership which attempted to destroy this country, but they won't because there are many more people in possession of guns who LOVE this country than those who would use guns to destroy this country. That is the reason why Japan decided not to invade us when they had the upper hand during WWII. The US Supreme Court ruled on June 26th, 2008, in Heller vs. D.C., that the 2nd Amendment applies to INDIVIDUAL citizens, not some ethereal "militia". Guns are not the solution to our current problems. Active and aggressive citizenship is. All the flag and gun waving on forums like this is a WASTE OF TIME, IF that is all you are going to do. This is the time to exercise our civil rights and become fully engaged in our political process. Put the guns back in the closet, you won't need them. Our military and police are as patriotic as you are, and the vast majority of them would not raise a gun against an unarmed citizen exercising their Constitutionally guaranteed civil rights, and any that would are quickly culled out. The pen is mightier than the sword. The Tea Party day is not over. Go out and attend one and show your support. Write letters to your Congress and Senate members. Begin attending your local school board and city council meetings. That's where this all starts. If you think you can be lazy and just take a small amount of time to vote out Pres. Obama in 2010 and that will solve all your problems, you are deluded and our Republic is truely finished. In other words, convince a majority of the voters in this country that your poltical positions are best ones. If you can't do that then you are in the minority, and waving guns will make you look extreme, if not crazy.

Such "leanings" were easily found in casual Internet research. Pres. Obama was an ACORN organizer who trained others using the same book his mentor used to train him, "Rules for Radicals", by Saul D. Alinsky. His mentor was trained 10 years earlier by Alinsky himself, before he died. "Rules" is a great read and details tactics that can be used by any group. It will help you to understand why the Left used ridicule so much. It is Alinksy's 5th rule, on page 128. Alinsky was honest. He stated up front he was a Marxist and gave an "over the shoulder acknowledgement" , believe it or not, to Satan, whom he described as the "first Radical known to man, who rebelled against the Establishment". Everybody mentions Ayers, the Marxist underground Weatherman bomber, who said a couple years ago that he didn't set off enough of them, but there are many more connections than that one. They all haven't been erased from the Internet, ... yet.
