yeah but the dsi can almost do all that stuff anyway (i think...)

the system specs aren't really much to write home about either when you consider if has to render so many images for the 3d effect - seems like nintendo are trying to cash in on th 3d craze more than anything

still, it's all about the games and nintendo make the best

Not sure about this, $300 means it'll be £200 or £250 here in the UK and that's the price of an xbox or ps3 slim

though i am hoping it drives down the price of the ds lite/ds i cos i've never owned one

yeah when i was younger i'd go in with me n64 carts, get them valued then literally just look at every n64 game in the shop until i found something kind of good

when i was at uni i would decide what games i wanted over the course of a term and just pre-order 2 or 3 of them and just play those ones as a way to stop me from impulse buying

I'm not sure if xbox or indeed playstation could do an on-demand service the way that steam does on PC. There would be no competition to keep prices in check or to drive prices down because the consoles are closed platforms. PC however has D2D, Impulse, Gamer's Gate, Green Man etc. etc.

Was gonna talk about retro gaming being an option as well but I completely forgot to shove it in

Are codemasters the only big studio left in the UK now? I guess there's still Evolution and the Sony first party studios. Still, this is sad. Though tbh APB is pretty crap.

Yeah this was announced a couple of weeks back but this is the first trailer anybody's seen.

There's alot of speculation and doubt over this game right now - espescially coming from the PC audience of the first game so I'm skeptical atm.

Yeah it's great that it's not in Rapture anymore.
I think Rapture only has it's magic the first time you see it and go there. I don't think it's something you can re-use and have it still have that atmosphere and impact that made the first Bioshock so awesome.

Looking forward to this - shame it's not out until 2012

Yeah, least you could just follow people by holding down the right trigger in Shenmue 2 and then just wait until you reach your destination - that's what I liked.

Makes me want to play it again - too bad I don't have a dreamcast or original Xbox anymore.

Loved the shit out of Shenmue 1 + 2

Wish they'd make a third.

Still, there's always the Yakuza games :)
