GrassrootsPA : Top Republican on House Liquor Control Committee: beer raid 'ridiculous use of manpower'...

The LCB is a joke. I havent counted myself but I was told that there are only 1200 beers on the approved "registered" list. There is no way on God's green earth that there are only 1200 beers brewed around the world. And the idea that every brewer or wholesaler or distributor has to register every brand and every style for every brand is just crazy. I am not surprised that non registered beer was found at a good beer bar. With micro and craft brewers constantly changing beers this is more than a cumbersome requirement.

GrassrootsPA : #11 Penn St. Nips #13 LSU 19-17 at Cap One Bowl...

caddy - recently announced ncaa graduations rates show PSU graduating 85% of its players - 2nd in the Big X only behind Northwestern. the ncaa avg. was 67%. the high was ND and Duke at 96%. joe was just quoted this week as saying (and I paraphrase) he isnt worried as much about the 5 kids who make the nfl as he is with the 50 that dont. the grand experiment is alive and well and will always be focused on players growing as a person and a student first.

For instance I did find that Joe is 23-7-1 v. Pitt

GrassrootsPA : Schroder warns Welch about switching to 6th District...

for what its worth, pretty sure you dont need to live in the district to actually run for congress. i understand the pitfalls of being a candidate in a district you dont live, but nonetheless i am pretty sure there is no residency requirment.

amen to anon and s. ranger. if specter loses the primary, the D's will take the seat. i voted for rick in 1994, 2000, and 2006. it would be nice if the conservatives returned the favor and voted for arlen
