As homes foreclose the responsible howeowner loses even more equity and value in their property, when the foreclosed owners don't leave, you end up with homes that fall apart in a few short years that affects every home in that community.

California's health care debacle is a multi fold causation of demise. Yes, there are illegals sucking the well dry, but, then there are the unions forcing employers to give health coverage away, and not just any health care coverage, the "cadillac" kind of coverage that will be exempt for the union members and paid for by the regular non-union working stiff and others(rich folks). And then there is the business climate in California that creates an over tax on businesses and then bleeds them dry with fees for this, that, and the other thing because they can. By the way, California may have a governor with an R after his name, but the assembly is 70% D and the governor himself supports the boy wonder in DC. Those are just a few reasons why there is a healthcare problem in CA. Oh, and did I mention the population is dropping and businesses are looking elswhere to set up shop?

The rate dropped because a survey of households found the number of employed Americans rose by 541,000, the Labor Department said. The job losses are calculated from a separate survey of employers.

The report also included an annual revision to the estimates of total payrolls, which showed there were 930,000 fewer jobs last March than previously estimated. The department also revised down its estimates for April through October of last year, adding another 433,000 job losses.

So, a sampled survey of a few representative households is used over the actual employment numbers from the employers themselves? Then they state fewer jobs were availble than previously thought in March and then additional drops from April thru October now shows and increase? Someone needs to assemble this fuzzy logic on a spreadsheet and show what they are really trying to say. I don't think they know. I'm now intrigued to do a little research of the statements and assemble an actuarial spreadsheet to see how F'd up they are....
