Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : One letter that changes everything.

2 Cor. 1. We should comfort others with what God comforted us. As maturing believers we always wrestle with holiness and love. We want to different and stand out for Christ, so we get tempted to hide the bad stuff. We want to be loving, so we get tempted to think it's broad tolerance. I believe we need both. They only way to be really loving to any is to show them our holy God and His love. The only way to be holy is to abide in Him. In His love. If we hide our faults, they will think we're natural righteous. And that won't do.
