Amazing, how most people who did NOT serve in the military are for the repeal of the ban than those who did serve and are still serving. Those of us, who are current or former military know first hand that the repeal will cause a whole lot of trouble.

If gays want to serve in the military, CANADA is accepting, and is just across the border to the north.

Being a former marine, I'll say this, When it effects unit morale, and effectiveness, and cohesion in a combat zone and during a time of war. I say, "NO!!!" to gays in the U.S. military.

The pentagon can order the military to except gays. But they can't order the military personnel to go against their personal feelings and beliefs. No matter how severe the punishment is for going against that order.

Being prior military, those who want to repeal the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" should live the military life style for a year with homosexuals. With little or no privacy, open bathroom facilities and showers and after that year ask the hetrosexuals, how they felt showering next to open homosexuals? Sleeping in the next bunk to them? Would they feel confident to watch their back in combat? Render aid if the homosexual soldier was injured and has a bleeding wound a possibility of being infected with HIV/AIDS? The rules are in place for a reason to repeal this rule you are inviting a pandoras box of trouble.

Banning bible verses on a rifle sight for soldiers in a warzone, just because of some muslim goat humpers find it offensive. GEEZ!!!! What's next, give soldiers rubber bullets so soldiers won't hurt the very same people who didn't care or get offended by killing innocent people.

I say, send Hasan, KSM, and the others to Israel. They have experience with dealing with muslim terrorist. They will have their day in court. An say hello to government run death panels, socialized medicine, rationing, the loss of qualified doctors and nurses, the loss of freedom of choosing your health care provider, the loss of new development of life saving medicines and surgery procedures.

The biggest thing of it all is, that hard working americans, and also the dumb libtards, who wants this health care reform bill. Will be taxed heavily for sub-par health care.
