You missed my my point. The President represents all 50 states and all congressional districts. He is the one politician who has a national mandate to set the nation's political agenda. Mc Connell and Boehner do not., so why are they trying to set policy for the nation, instead of just contributing their ideas? Well when you do your own exhaustive study like Harvard did you will have some credibility. What happened with your relative does not happen to everyone. Many people with chronic conditions avoid the primary care they need because of lack of insurance. The condition deteriorates and they go the ER and its too late.Yes some will do charity cases, but this is not enough for all of the uninsured. You cannot go to an ER with advanced cancer or heart disease. Chemo and radiation are not available in the ER.
The mine owners had repeatedly been cited for safety violations, and now this is the harvest. According to Limbaugh, Hannity, and the rest of the right wing ditto head echo chamber, industry does not need to be regulated for stupid things like worker safety. Why that messes with profit by golly. Tell that to the mourning families.

The President authorized the first new nuclear reactors in thirty years a few months ago also. Now he signs off on off shore drilling. These are things Republicans and conservatives have been calling for. As soon as he does it the same people still attack him. This is classic Obama derangement syndrome. It proves that critism of this President is irrational and unfair. Everything he does is either too much or not enough. If he visits the troops, he is using them as a prop. He does not visit them, he is disrespecting them. Totally psychotic.
