I was one of those post and after I read it I realized it was not what I wanted to say. For that I am sorry to have messed up your vent post but all I could see was Peloise and reacted to that. I know about family losing their job my son has been out since March 2008. Our emotions can sometimes make you less tolerant than normal.

Too bad it sounded that way to you. That was not my intention. California has been so far left there was no way it would not come back and bite them as in the mess today. As for the hard working people of that state who really need help I'm all for it. I was making the point about all the illegals and sanctuary cities that waste californias money on them! Let's face it untill we kick out the law breakers we all are paying the price and in all states!

I know it is not all about me. I do not mind helping people that have lost their jobs because of this financial mess. What I'm saying is California's past practices have contributed to their current situation. If you think I want to bail out illegal aliens in your sanctuary cities you are wrong. If you mean I worked all my life and saved for retirement and took care of my family, obeyed the laws of the land and served my country in the military you are right I got mine. Just because I do not believe in Obama care does not make me wrong. I do not believe anybody should get anything without working for it period. Health care reform is needed but not 1000 pages no one is reading before voting. We all see what the last two bills out of congress did a big failure! Remember 9/11 or was that a lie also? Tell me one thing Bush lied about. The only bad decisions were made from bad intelligence reporting that was Clinton's doing since his administration tied the hands of the CIA. Clinton's inaction of the WTC bombings, the Beruit bombings, and the Cole attack embolden the terrorist to attack in 9/11. BHO is on the same track and will weaken our defenses because of his policies. As far as I know this site is not left or right just here to get back to a country run according to the consitution and not by party politics.

You are partially correct. The auto taskforce made sure the UAW had a deal made before bankruptcy but made no effort to have a deal made for the non-union employees. It was learned in bankruptcy court that the saleried pension would not be brought to the new Chrysler. The saleried employees hired a law firm and got Chrysler to bring the saleried pensions forward in the court proceedings. So the auto taskforced did a little favor for it's special interest group the UAW! Oh, by the way some of the salery employees pension were left behind in the old company with the bond holders but not one dime of a union pension was.

Medicare and medicaid are running in the red and adding more government health care will force doctors out of the system. The only way the doctors serve medicare/medicaid today is charging more for private health care patients to makeup for the loss from medicaid patients. By the way insulting people is not the way to debate an issue.

1)The government took over the auto companies to protect unions 2)Czars are there providing smoke screens 3)As for bonuses ask why congress gave itself a pay raise when they are way over budget 4) There will be less pollution because businesses will be forced to close and when Health care is run like medicare and medicaid I don't think you will be laughing then, just do not need a doctor if you can find one when you need one.

The tea parties only serve like minded people and there has been little or no news on the parties this past weekend. The same people should gather at home offices of their elected reps and senators who ignore their wishes and voted against what the voters wanted. Sign petitions to recall them this will get media attention and theirs also. The best time for the protest are when they are out of DC and in their home state offices.
