Parcbench : Nobody is perfect

It's 2010; MLB must catch up to today's technology and use it to produce a better game. The owners, managers, coaches, players, and fans deserve to have fair games with accurate calls. The truth, above all, is most important to the game. We can no longer have umpires making educated guesses. The calls must be right. To not use the tools we have to create a fair game because of "tradition" is ridiculous. The "human element" isn't perfect, but that doesn't mean the right call still shouldn't be made upon review. Technology has advanced almost every aspect of baseball (training, equipment, scouting, etc.). Officiating shouldn't be left in the dark ages.

Absolutely! I, and millions of other baseball fans, want a fair game. We want players to receive what they've earned. Umpires should not have absolute power to take that away. Bud Selig needs to do the right thing and overturn this atrocious call!

At least the crackhead had a British accent and probably proper grammar, which makes him slightly more respectable than American crackheads. I might just give money to a crackhead that exhibits proper grammar. Hooray for grammar!

Parcbench : The Ladies Room: Jack Bauer, My Ideal Man

Jack is my ideal man too, Kristyn. I have two dreams about Jack. One is being his buddy. If that dream never comes true, then I'd want my second: Jack kills me in some totally intense way. I wouldn't even mind. I would just be so excited! If Jack was in a room with Hitler, Satan, and Nina Meyers, and he only had two bullets in his gun, he'd shoot Nina twice. If the U.S. Government listened to Jack, the show would be called "12."

Belichick hasn't won a Super Bowl since Weis and Crennel left. They might've been the keys to success. Now, they're with Pioli, who's rebuilding the team very nicely. In one or two more seasons, the Chiefs should be a playoff regular beginning their run at being a dynasty.

Parcbench : The Ladies Room: Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels

American society mostly rejects celebrities or public figures who cheat on spouses (Tiger Woods) or cheat in a sport (Mark McGwire). Yet, when it comes to issues that actually matter, society seems blissfully ambivalent to those who cheat on taxes (Tim Geithner) or those who cheat the American people out of billions of dollars (Pelosi, Reid, and the entire Obama administration).
