Ken is right. There are people around the world that suffer worse conditions than these dogs and nobody posting here is advocating for them... In other countries these dogs would be eaten - takes care of the over population problem and feeds humans that need food.

People also seem to miss the point that these 600 animals are a insignificant number compared to the thousands destroyed yearly in cities around the US. Poor little puppies ahhhhhhhhh.

GET REAL. PEOPLE COME FIRST. we should spend resources on animals only after people are taken care of.

Finally, a decent post on this subject. It's not as if he clubbed a healthy eagle or nesting chicks. The eagle is symbolic but this one was just an injured animal. I wish people were as concerned for those in Somalia as they are for eagles, puppies, etc.......
