The thing that baffles me is what Obama and his bots thought they could accomplish with this legislation. Even by the most generous estimate it did nothing to address their perceived problem! Trotting Stanley McCrystal out to pronounce the 5.56X45 (.223 Remington) round favored by the AR crowd as "too lethal for civilians" was the final straw. Obama might not know better, and Feinstein surely does not, but McCrystal does! Who paid him off, and for what?
So what did all the grandstanding about an underpowered cartridge and a popular rifle hope to accomplish? Assuming that not all of the players in the field are as stupid as they look, I don't think I like the answer to that question.

The Day the World Ended (1955), and
The Day of the Triffids (1963)
Both, although extremely cheap productions, demonstrate a basic understanding of survival against long odds (but Zardoz is very cool too).

Excuse me; what's an "Axelrod", and what does it think it knows about this?

The clips of Frank and Pelosi cast against Reagan's speech are cruel, and real. They are small people with small minds. Perhaps, like the cops, congress will pass a law that forbids them from being videotaped. It's the only way they're going to survive.

I will also not donate to United Way or buy any product made by Levis. They made their bed, and they can sleep in it for all I'm concerned.

Ringo was my favorite Beatle. He was a great drummer, and carved out some new territory. Then he was Mr Conductor (or something) on PBS, and it was a great show for (my) kids.
I'm sorry to see that he's gone that far down, but my regard of English persons is not very high. In fact it's more or less right in line with Bush's "soft racism of low expectations".

We have a handsome young man who is lost in the world. His 70 (!) year old father sent him to boarding school in a foreign country. He has no friends. Feels increasingly isolated. What do you expect? He's gonna turn out to be another Einstein?
Muttalab did a very bad thing. He will be punished. Will the father and the culture that created this atrocity be punished?
