Another fact that seems to have been forgotten is that nearly all of the AK-47 weapons going into Mexico are Chinese-made. Since Chinese companies operate most of the major ports in Mexico, it's an easy leap to the conclusion that these weapons are being delivered directly to the Mexican cartels.
As far as the other weapons, the Border Patrol has found that most, if not all, serial numbers on every confiscated weapon have been filed off. That means that there is no possible way to track where they came from.

Check the stores for your regular bulbs. They are no longer being manufactured in certain wattages. The 100 watt is the first to go (this year, I believe). I've already bought 2 cases to have on hand. If nothing else, they'll be good on the black market.
In addition, the new bulbs won't work in most fixtures that have dimmer switches. So much for mood lighting! And, lest I forget, 3 way bulbs will be either non-existent or prohibitively expensive.
