Breitbart.com : US Senate Democrats pick debt committee members

How odd. I was certain the Senate Democrats would choose Olympia Snowe, Lindsay Graham and John McCain.

Thank you, President Obama. Thank you for adding $5 trillion to our debt. Thank you for holding unemployment over 9%. Thank you for attacking Libya without the approval of Congress. Thank you for increasing our deficits to $1.5 trillion a year for the next 10 years. Thank you for doubling the price of gas. Thank you for giving money to Wall Street since they need it bad. Thank you for not closing Guantanamo. Thank you for not ending the wars you promised to end. Thank you for ending illegal immigration by making this the last place people want to go. Thank you for $10 light bulbs. Thank you for the Edsel...I mean Volt (all 500 of them). Thank you for blaming everyone but yourself for everything that goes wrong and actin' kinda angry about it. Sincerely, Jimmy Carter, Herbert Hoover and George Bush No Longer the Worst Presidents (not by a long shot)

Big Government : Tea Party Lawmakers Are the Only Honest Brokers in Washington

I hope we default. Apparently the only way to stop the spending is on the supply side. Once the supply of cheap debt is gone, we'll have no money to spend beyond the regular revenue. The budget will be balanced. An economy based on the debt rating of the federal government is inherently a lie. Where is it written that the federal government even needs to have debt. Private lenders and borrowers should be left to their own devices--not basing their transactions on competing with T-Bills. Let it crash. Make the government offer federal land or other property as collateral for debt.

Big Government : Stengel-gate Spreads: Why Was Richard Stengel Presented as an Expert on the Constitution on NPR?

Progressives believe in 3 human rights (the Unholy Liberal Trinity): the right to tax, the right to kill babies and the right to anal sodomy. All other rights, duties and activities are subordinate to those 3 primary human endowments. Anything that interferes with the rights to taxation, abortion and anal sex is by definition illegal and therefore unconstitutional. It's either the 6th, 18th or 22nd amendment that says so (or probably all 3 when you really think about it).

Big Government : Obama Political Advisor: Unemployment Isn't that Important to Voters

How about we start taxing union dues? Since union folks are employed, shouldn't they be taxed for their union activity? Just take 40% off the top, plus a 12% surchage, then tack on a 4.3% use tax, add on a 12% highway robbery tax (which would be lower than capital gains), throw in an excise tax of 7.28%, and top it off with another 9.4% as a processing fee. That would leave about 15% for union bosses to live off of. It wouldn't leave much for Democratic kickbac...I mean political donations.

Big Journalism : David Axelrod: Lincoln Built an "Intercontinental Railroad"

I think it would be far more instructive to the country to stick to one theme: Obama borrowed trillions of dollars to award money to teachers, unions, environmentalists and government employees. All in the name of keeping unemployment under 8%. He failed. And we have to pick up the check. That's the story that should be told now til election day. Any other story is a useless distratction.

Big Journalism : Just How Large Was the Attendance At Beck's 'Restoring Honor' Rally?

I would think that the easiest way to judge the size of a crowd would be to compare it to previous events held in the same spot. The Million Man March. The Obama Inauguration on the other end of the Mall. These are pictures of the "over one million attendees" for the inauguration (http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/01/the_inauguration_of_president.html). No doubt very impressive for January in Washington. The leaves are not on the trees and you can see no one is standing under the trees. The area for the inauguration was much narrower and there were large open spaces in the crowd. On Saturday most folks were actually under the trees and packed very tightly. So contrast the pictures of the inauguration with the crowd at Saturday's rally. There were more people there on Saturday. I'm not suggesting it was over a million but it was definitely more than the inauguration.

Breitbart.tv : Fringe Group? National Mall Jammed For Beck Rally; Estimates From 300-500 Thousand

CBS hired a private firm to estimate the turnout. Their official estimate is 78,000 to 98,000.... Of course CNN is also running with that number since that is lowest. I was there. People were packed in from Independence Avenue all the way to the pond on the other side of the Reflecting Pool and from the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument. People were standing shoulder to shoulder. The Metro was overwhelmed--no way could a crowd of 78,000 to 98,000 even come close to doing that. I parked at a Metro stop that had parking for over 5,000 cars. It was full at 7:00 AM. There simply has not been a larger crowd on the mall in the past 30-40 years. There is no arguing about it. It is a fact. All one has to do is compare the aerial photos. Larger than the Million Man March? Definitely. Larger than the Obama Inauguration? Absolutely. The basic math is undeniable when one compares the events. This event covered more square footage with more people per square foot. More square footage plus higher density equals larger crowd. There are no emotions that negate the numbers. There is no New Math that reduces the multitude.

Breitbart.com : Faith in Obama sinks since oil spill: poll

Just you wait until Obama's next speech.... Then that oil spill will know who is in charge. The oil won't know what hit it. I guarantee the oil has never heard such a speaker. Perhaps we could give Obama to the British and we'll just forget about the damages from the oil spill? It seems like a fair trade. Just call it even. They wanted us to elect him after all.

I remember when this story first hit, the legal experts on MSNBC were all predicting 15-year prison sentences for the felonies and high crimes committed against the angelic Mary Landrieu and our republic, possibly longer sentences if the terms were not concurrent. Our very way of life and our constitutional democracy were threatened by this prank. Of course, MSNBC also reported that a variety of listening devices were found and that the phones had been "tapped." Oops, wrong again. I would be interested to hear what all of the white folks on MSNBC have to say now. I would wonfder what the non-white folks on MSNBC think but there aren't any.

How much time did G. Gordon Liddy get for the Watergate break-in? This son-of-a-Democrat pursued Palin for sport and political gain so, in my mind, that makes his crime even worse than Liddy's. He seemed to derive some glee from the enterprise, as if Palin "had it coming" for being uppity.

Community service for multiple felonies? It's not like the felon pursued her for curiosity. He posted the information for others to use. I can't see any scenario in which he did not intend to harm Palin and anyone associated with her. It was an act of intimidation, pure and simple. Anyone who disagrees with me must post their name, phone number, address, and email. Then post the same information for your whole family and all of your friends and coworkers.
Breitbart.com : Palin set to take stand in Tenn. hacking trial

The House of Commons is not a scientific organization. Most people know that... The material difference is that the "hacking" of the climate researchers emails was likely the act of a whistle-blower. Let me explain the ultimate difference to you. The exposure of Palin's emails resulted in nothing embarrassing, nothing untoward, nothing but an attempt to intimidate a public official and candidate for public office. It was an assault on democracy. The exposure of the CRU emails exposed their failures to follow statistical methods, maintain data, and obey freedom of information laws. The exposure was a protection of true scientific method, a protection of freedom of information, a protection of public research funds, and a protection of free markets. I would say there is a fundamental difference in both the motivations and results in the two incidents.

So the "hacker" (a.k.a. moron) targeted Palin based on her fame and his opposition to her political beliefs... And she should be excluded from testifying as a victim because of her fame and political beliefs... What a novel demand: certain victims should not be allowed to testify in court as victims, unless the trial can be moved to San Francisco or some such place, where the victim will be put on trial as a perpetrator. Nice system they want. In other words, they want open season on conservatives. Perhaps anyone who has voted for the moron's father (a.ka. Moron, Senior) should be excluded as well?

Big Journalism : Washington Post's Andrew Alexander: Democrat Shill

The way MSNBC is analyzing the footage you would think they had the Zebruder film. Slow motion, freeze frame, reverse, pause, bitch, squint, moan, repeat. This is only a story inside Washington. The fact that Pelosi and the black caucus were able to walk through a demonstration on their way to bankrupting the nation speaks volumes on the peacefulness of the Tea Party. The false outrage is only striking a chord within the most left groups. Could anyone imagine Bush, Cheney and Rove trying to walk through a peace rally? No one would be analyzing video to read lips or parsing pixels trying to detect saliva. It would have been like an episode of Wild Kingdom where a pack of wild hyenas takes down a noble elephant.
