I believe that Amendment was put in there to make slaves born in this country citizens. It was never meant in any way to confer citizenship to anyone who can get here while pregnant. But that is what unintended consequences are. We tried to fix one problem for a single generation and created another one in perpetuity. Think about the stupidity of this country, if a Mexican woman can sneak across the border pregnant she will get the finest health care for her delivery and baby, not pay one penny for it, and her child becomes an American citizen that can start getting free health care until the day he is 18 when he can finally apply for government assistance.
Thank you very much for your service.
"The statesman who should attempt to direct private people in what manner they ought to employ their capitals, would not only load himself with a most unnecessary attention, but assume an authority which could safely be trusted to no council and senate whatever, and which would nowhere be so dangerous as in the hands of a man who had folly and presumption enough to fancy himself fit to exercise it." -- Adam Smith
It's what always happens. Look for those who created the problem to attempt a power grab in order to fix it.
Only send in the top and string of the tea bag, do not send the tea, it will be thrown away as potentially hazardous.
Must view movie. Jaw dropping allegations. Little bit of conspiracy stuff going on, so there is that to question but everyone should definitely decide for themselves.
It's not where you live, it is their supporters. These people do not believe that you have a right to an opinion. I had the anti ACLU decal on my car scratched up in NYC. Isn't that funny, the people who supposedly defend free speech don't like me having that freedom if it criticizes them? This is what fascism is all about.
Geithner is a criminal but replacing him makes no difference. A new Paulson/Geithner who is owned by the banks will just replace him.
The new plan to bailout banks is more of the same with a different name. Every single plan is centered around one premise, steal from the people and give it to the banks. Even when the last three plans were rejected they ended up stealing $100 billion through AIG.
My simple answer to your question Glen is that regardless of how many people don't have health care it has nothing to do with the government. There is no authority in the Constitution that guarantees health care so the government has no business making laws regarding it.

Without the government involved we would all have more time and money to help those without health care. As it stands now the government is intentionally trying to enslave us so that we do not have any money to give to charity. This way they can control all those who need assistance and buy their votes, while we can not fulfill our obligations/desires to help others because we don't have a penny to spare.
