Got tired of getting letter after letter from US Bank, informing me: 1) they were going to start charging me for something that they already did for free, or 2) they were going to do less for me and charge me the same. Their words made it sound like they felt they were doing me a favor.

Had enough, and switched in August. Guess I'm not the only one.

Totally support your right to Open Carry, but it's safer for you to conceal. Carrying openly just makes you the 1st target for a bad guy to attack. Concealing your weapon (legally) preserves the element of surprise.

BTW, I conceal carry with a permit. Every day, and everywhere legal to do so. And I sincerely hope that I never ever have to pull my gun in a dangerous situation.

31 to 41 months in prison? What a disgrace.

The cynic in me wonders if lawmakers in Olympia structure these lenient sentencing guidelines so that their "best customers" can get out of jail and back on the streets as soon as possible and buy more liquor.

Hey, if a cop pulls me over and I'm doing 42 on a bicycle, I WANT a ticket. I'm an old fart, and I want it bad.

Please Mr. Policeman, write it using a big fat neon marker, and when you get to the "speed" part, use EXTRA-LARGE print so that my old-fart friends can more easily see it.

Call it bragging rights, in your face take that, one upmanship, or whatever you want to call it, but that'd be something frameable! :)

Sad news. RIP.

Darn good player. His'71 Colts beat my Cowboys in one of the "ugliest" Super Bowls ever played.

EDIT-apparently he refused to wear his ring because of the sloppy play in that Super Bowl V. I didn't know that - learned something.

I remember this story when it first aired, and it didn't smell right then. And now the truth comes out, whaddaya know ?!

I understand that taxpayers must indemnify and hold harmless those public servants who, through no fault or negligent act of their own, damage public property in the course of performing their duties. But this is nowhere near that category. Why should the taxpayers take it up the proverbial tailpipe.....AGAIN ?
