You were saying something before about your luck in H2H1 running out at some point? At this rate it looks like that might be in GW39....

Chris Hutchings? No? You remember him...? The man left to clear up after Paul Jewell? Twice. Ended up being sacked before he'd clocked up 25 games? Twice! Mind you - Wigan aside - Paul Jewell himself doesn't cover himself in much glory. Bradford? Derby?

I read somewhere that Pav was still a little hampered by his hammy, so may only start from the bench. I'd expect Crouch and Gudjohnsen to start, with Pav coming on in the second half. As a fan, I'm most interested in the RB spot. Once upon a time (in January) we actually had about 4 RB in the squad, but with Corluka injured we now appear to have none. Palacios there in the cup, Kaboul there in the Scout team news, BAE a possible in the picks write up. The fact that Kyle Walker gets a mention in Harry's team news really shows the problem. I think Harry is also itching to rest Palacios (9 yellows) and play Kaboul at DM again, so there may be a few surprises in the line up tomorrow.

Prince Bertie of Aqualand? No thanks. Fair comment on the Dowie factor. Arteta is sneaking ahead, though with him it means I will probably have 10 players away from home this week. Never a good sign.

Yep - Dempsey/Duff would probably be in the shakedown if it weren't for the expected Roytation. Schwarzer, Hughes and Zamora appear the only dead certs.

Um - 'Malouda and Drogba' vs 'Modric and Tevez' then. I'd say 'great minds think alike' but I might be verging on slander.

Hmm. Was looking for some picks guidance for my new midfielder, but having discarded Etherington as 'a bit dull', I was flipping between Arteta and Bullard. Thanks for the help Mark. So take your pick: Differential killer Arteta? (Safe, boring, predictable. All the things that the cautious fantasy manager in me likes) or Differential maker Bullard? (Risky, interesting, punterrific. Maybe my team needs a shake up - it does look a bit identikit lately)

I can see Harry allowing this personally. Though I suspect some sort of red tape will prevent him from making that decision.

I think Torres will score more than Rooney in the rest of the season. So if on wildcard, I would make the switch. In my own team though I can't see it being worth 4 points this week, so I am likely to be Torresless for another week. Shame.

It seems most have gone for Spurs in this weeks LMS. Some on Liverpool and City. I was tempted by Hull this week, but bottled it and went for City myself. I did spy a punt on Bolton in the matrix though. Now that's brave.

I'm finding that I need to refresh the whole page to get new posts, rather than just sort by latest activity. Sorting just seems to reorder them. Not sure if that is the same as last time? (Added to the fact that A_jayes23 hasn't got the hang of the reply button yet...)
