Yes, but if there wasn't a Congressman involved, and a 20 year old guy went to the police and said that a nearly 70 year old without a weapon was pushing him around, well how hard do you think the police would be laughing?

An awful lot of hostility here, but this isn't a rape victim. It is just some 20 year old guy who got pushed around by a 68 year old guy. Which is probably why he doesn't want to show his face.

Was he headed to Congress? If so, the Constitution may offer immunity:

“They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.”

What was the point of the article? Comparing a democratically elected leader representing the will of a majority of the country to a dictator who banned all opposition parties and started World War II?
