You know what? How about you do your job, and you do it so well that 'Hollywood' provides you with the ability to practice your trade-craft no matter what your sex is?
Funny, it seemed there was plenty of work for women like Olivia de Havilland, Lauren Bacall, Maureen O'Hara, etc, etc, etc. As a matter of fact, Hollywood CREATED new vehicles for women like this because they had TALENT. Not because they were female, but because they were damned good at what they did!
