Fat chance of it happening, Just don't pass a budget, and the ballnce is SOLVED! With no budget, just spending, Make sure it has at least 2200 pages to close all the ballancing problems.

How's that wonderful "Paygo" workin? Same deal second verse. EVERYTHING due to Paygo is now "Emergency Spending!"

14 years ago @ Big Government - As I came down the street to work this morning, I noticed that 7 three foot manhole covers on the stormdrains on the street were GONE. Desparation? The beginnng of the end?

14 years ago @ Big Government - He is 'moving on' to Project Mercury in Dallas where, he will be laying the keel for a modern day 'ark' to be built over the next 10 years. It will be made of 'good people' not wood. Also a LOT of preparedness. Hopefully it will happen.

The end will come, probably violently, since 50% of the population of the US is 'entubated' and on unsustainable, Federal life support to one degree or another. It might come as a 5 megaton bomb in TelAviv, or one a few of the #99% taking out a refinery or the power grid. Or more likely Bernanke or Geitner setting up runaway inflation. When the 'Fedlifesupport machine' fails, and food is stripped from grocery stores and the supply chain is disrupted, social structure will dissolve. We will rapidly see that the 'collective' is a farce and revert to 'true democracy', as we see in the #Occupy movement. The talley of crimes in the Big Gov banner will jump.We are on a technological pinnacle, so easy to take down..

14 years ago @ Big Government - You are correct, he, like Rush and Sean constantly quip about "It must be racism, what else could it be"!. Just like many here say "Who woulda though't" when they read articles with very 'obvious' conclusions.

For 2 years Glenn has 'connected the dots' till we really do now have a 'mosaic picture' of the end of our Republic. He has now reached that conclusion and hopes only that the 2012 outcome will be Republican so the end will come more slowly.

Anything funded by the NSF is suspect since they are pro AGW. If you read this excerpt carefully, as I did they are NOT backing off AGW meme. Since all the dire predictions they made in the 1990's have NOT come true and we are in a 'cooling' phase for the past 10 years, they need to move the 'timeline' back, So that the 'dire' catasterophic predictions can continue. 50 thousand "Climate Refugees", Increased hurricanes, sea level rise, Polar Bear extinction, Ice free Arctic ocean, No more snowy winters, balmy winter temperatures, Glaciers all gone, etc, etc, have all trended in the OPPOSITE direction of the AGW 'consensus' predictions due to CO2. Obviously anything assiciated with the UN, is associated with Global re-distribution of wealth!

If We the People don't get behind him $ the RINO's and Lobbiests sure won't since they don't have their 'hooks in him!'.

Not very difficult to do by their on rules and vulnerabilities.
