Like it or not, the overwhelming majority of this country believes in Christ and our custom is to celebrate the birth of Christ. If you don't like it, feel free to go to a country that will chop your head off, stone you to death, rape you, torture you and/or imprison you for NOT believing in their faith.
While he's not a "1%er" anymore, he's certainly not broke by any means. He lives in a VERY nice house, easily between 4,000-5,000 sq. feet in a very nice suburb in a small town in California's Central Valley. He and his wife also drive nice cars and have a business, so he's far from being broke/poor. Perhaps his upbringing, growing up in a very ghetto part of East Oakland on High Street, is making him feel sympathetic towards the supposed "99%ers." But as an adult with common sense, you'd think he'd use his eyes to see the lowlife 99%ers as what they are: Crybaby, faux-liberals, who want more free stuff, their debts forgiven, who apparently like to assault, rape, fight, vandalize, start fires, loot, steal, rob, sexually assault women, freely hate "zionist" bankers/banks, threaten with violence, do drugs, pimp and sexually assault children, throw rocks, molotov cocktails, bricks, pipes, bottles, urine, etc. at police and defecate and urinate on public. I'm sure I missed something in that list! Yes, Pastor MC Hammer, those people sure are "peaceful."
I notice no one is talking about the DEAD WOMAN they found in a tent at the OWS in Vancouver or the drug overdose in the same filthy tent-city. The MSM's repeated claims of this "mostly peaceful" movement are hilarious.

Yeah, the local news here (Fox affiliate-but liberal as Berkeley) KTVU Channel 2 goes out of their way to say the words "peaceful protest" and "mostly peaceful" over and over. It is both funny and sad. The scumbag 99%ers here (just like everywhere else) are vile, filthy, violent, criminals. If anything only some of them are actually "peaceful" while the majority of them are typical liberal scumbags. They have trashed, defecated, urinated, had sex, robbed, sexually assaulted, threatened and promoted violence, vandalized, consumed various drugs, in public. Yet ALL of the local news here keeps repeating that they are "mostly peaceful" and that "a few 'bad apples' does not represent this 'mostly peaceful' movement." I just don't get how anyone with a brain can swallow that horse s**t.
I expected as much from the "journalist" who stood side by side with Contessa Brewer on their no-ratings network (msnbc)--and blatantly LIED to the 12 people viewing their show--with claims of "Crazy White people with guns" showing up at an Obama rally while cutting off/editing the head of the Black man holding the firearm on the video they showed to push their lie. That guy is an idiot. I have argued with his back and forth on twitter before but he always clams up and changes the subject when you hit him with facts. I kept asking him about that deceptively-edited video and why he supports the democrats when they're the factually historical racist party. He got upset and asked me why I was being "snarky."
You can tell that it's almost painful for these local reporters here in the Bay Area to HAVE to cover the police evacuations of these idiot Occupy Oakland commies. And my GOD, the filth and garbage that these scum have left behind! In a city that averages between 100-200 murders a year, it's a travesty to see the police having to waste resources and time to get these idiots off city property.

I live near Oakland and I can assure you all that the reports are accurate -- in fact, sugar-coating -- the disgusting, violent threats, rat infestation, and racist behavior at Occupy Oakland. Some "activist" put on a tearful act on the local news yesterday comparing this joke to '60s civil rights protests and of course, the local media showed his weeping for sympathy despite them being threatened on and off-camera (and the robbing amongst themselves, the rape/sexual assault complaint and anti-semitism). I can't stand this liberal hell-hole.

I haven't seen this remake/prequel yet, so I can't comment on it, but I never understood the point of doing this movie when John Carpenter's "original" is an absolute masterpiece in horror.
