It isn't a bad team, although wouldn't be my first choice. I do want Stan to get somewhat of a chance though- even if it's in a striking role.

What about LBM as a left back? He'd stalk Newcastle's attackers for the duration of the game, that's for sure.

Are they better shooters than diamanti from outside the box?

I know Adam Johnson isn't, that's for sure. And this is coming from a huge Adam Johnson fan.

I couldn't agree more Mensch.

Celtic you are very knowledgable, but I am quite sick and tired of you arguing the same points.

1) Gold and Sullivan are our owners- deal with it. Although many of their decisions are questionable, they do want us to succeed (we are their investment, and their club they support). So although they might go about it in a seemingly twisted way................. they own the club so they can. (as wrong as that may sound).

2) Diamanti is gone. And whilst he had a brilliant world-class left shot (you'd struggle to name somebody with a better left boot playing professional soccer), he did have his liabilities- like stamina and defence. Such a good defensive team such as Chelsea could afford to have him as a luxury, as their team can manage without his defensive prowess and can benefit greatly from his attack. However we are not sophisticated enough defensively to have these luxuries.

3) Victor Obinna is a threat. Sure he can sometimes shoot massively off-target or incorrectly shoot the ball instead of passing it to another team-mate, but it is a learning curve. He has helped Piquionne massively imo.

You've had your word, now let's talk about something different.......

I'm hoping Obinna proves you massively wrong (and I guess you do as well, considering you support the club too).

Andy, do you or anybody else have a link of highlights which includes Super-Scotty Parker's run which tore spurs apart. I'm so keen to see it.

Yes I haven't seen Parker's run yet, I'm so keen to.

I agree SE13, very very well taken goals.

I can see Barrera, Piquionne and Obinna linking very well. Add to that a balanced midfield of attack and defense involving Dyer, Parker and Hitz and it looks like a great attacking team imo.

Green
Jacobsen DaCosta Upson Gabbidon
Dyer Parker Hitz
Barrera Piquionne Obinna

Keeper: Hopefully he gets on form
Defense: Not world-class but we just need them to do a good job
Midfield: A pretty sweet midfield!
Strikers: If these players show as good communication as they showed in the goals, they could be a real success!

It's not that I'm saying Cole needs a rest, but after that performance Barrerra Obinna and Piquionne need to be retained.

For a very attacking line-up you could possibly go.

Barrera Parker Dyer Obinna
Cole Piquionne

I agree with the line-up although I'd start Barrera from the go.
