What sort of DESSERT is the movie set in? Is it trifle or maybe my favourite Apple Pie?
The scariest part of this trailer was when the words " From Producer Michael Bay" popped up. Those four words always have the ability to send a chill up my spine.

Wow someones on their Man Period!!!!. Quite clearly I wasnt referring to all Americans, just the one who decided to change the ending for the American release. The film may have been produced in the UK, but here in the UK it was distributed by Pathe who also produced it and stood by the directors original artistic choices . In America it was distributed by Lionsgate who's idea it was to change the ending to a happier one. Thats the facts, and for the record I only derive fun from making fun off dumb people regardless of their Nationality , and you can count yourself as one of them.
Even if news was released today that James Cameron was scraping Avatar after the fanboy backlash, this news of a Rob Zombie reinvention of the Blob would still be the worst movie news of the day. in fact anything involving Rob Zombie and movies will always be the worst movie news of the day. I would prefer to hear that Uwe Boll is doing a reimagining of 2001:A Space Odyssey
This film only exists because some idiot american distrabutor/producer decided the films original ending was to dark and cut it to make it a "happier ending" for U.S audiences. Im interested to see how they explain to audiences outside the U.S, how the hell characters from the original survived. My guess is that they wont bother trying to explain it. Oh and the trailer looks like a by the numbers rehash of the original, which is one of my favourite horror films of the last decade
I downloaded this in 720p HD of the Playstation Network and believe me if you think it looks bad on a computer screen you should see it on a 42in Plasma, Horrible graphics, slowdown, jaggies, rubbish textures the list goes on, it looks like an average PS2 game
Doesn't look like anything special and the casting is ridiculous, Benicio Del Toro is meant to be Anthony Hopkins son??
The jury is still out. I didn't hate the trailer, or think it looked like a Pixar movie, like alot of people on other sites, though I wasn't blown away and my eyeballs are intact. I maybe just haven't warmed to the look of the Navi, there is something goofy about them and the Pandora planet looks like a re-imagining of Ferngully the Last Rain Forest. I did however, have no problem with the visual look of the film and thought some of the animation looked superb especially the female Navi. My expectations have been lowered but thats probably a good thing.
