There's an absolutely hilarious movie called "The Superhero" that came out in 2008, with a Stephen Hawking look alike that's side-splitting funny. It's a surprisingly good movie.
Wow, so many Christians speaking up here. If Hawking were to say, "I don't know for sure, but I think that Heaven is a fairy tale," at least that would be an honest position, but to say absolutely Heaven doesn't exist is foolish, especially in one who sees the incredible complexity of the universe and how it has such order and awesome beauty. There is much more to us human beings than meets the eye, and in ways we can't begin to fathom, we are created in the image of our Creator. That doesn't mean that God looks like us in our physical bodies, it means that we look like him in our spiritual bodies. Doubt that the spirit exists? Go point to an anatomy chart and show me where thoughts and emotions come from.
Rep. Cantor, it doesn't matter what you believe or what you're paid to believe, There's smoke pouring out of Obama's house and the only thing that will put out the fire is one thing Obama won't give up. Lots and lots of smoke. Even your pocket friends in the media see it and are pointing it out.
Public interest my buns! An 8-1 ruling reveals the frightening reality that's sweeping through govt. institutions of Canada and the US. They want absolute control of information and the power to tax it into submission or out of existence. We saw it yesterday with a ruling that gives the FCC broad powers to regulate and tax Internet content and commerce, all in the name of "public interest." In the real world, journalist source confidentiality is essential to the discovery of information in the true public interest. In the real world, whistleblower sources often take grave chances by coming forward. The govt cannot be trusted to use such powers benevolently.
Woodward had a golden goose land in his lap during the Nixon years, and he's been living off that bird's golden eggs ever since. But the goose is old now and its eggs are few and far between. His biographies are institutional, meaning, they portray the surface down to a respectable depth, and that's it. No doubt, he'll win a Pulitzer, for the powers must legitimize Obama at any cost. Mr. Woodward, get to the bottom of Obama's radical connections, his same gender relations, the murder of Donald Young, his true birth record and the identity of his real father, how he got into Harvard, and how he was groomed for the presidency by anti-American interests. Who wrote Dreams of My Father? Explain the SS# strangeness. Or gloss over all that and this will be your inheritance: What does a man profit if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
Very witty line. When all the corruption is stripped away from Murtha's soul, there's not much left. The thing about death is, there's no time left to repent. Chances are, no matter how long he would have lived, the outcome would be the same.
That's the best line I've read all week...
And it's only Monday.
The guy behind the scenes, who maintains a very low profile, is Rahm Emanuel. He drives the administration's "ends justify the means" methodology. The way they do things is not just random or innocent. That particular man is one of the most dangerous people in government because he's smart and ruthless. Timing? He knows all about it.
