Right now boiling is either done on the open fire, or this frighteningly sketchy arrangement (with no identifiable markings) that uses the heat from the burner to pressurize the fuel tank. It remains one of my favorite pieces of camp gear, for as deadly as it might be, produces incredible reactions once people figure out how it works.

I shall have to look into this. Looks like a solid solution to all of my summer paintballing woes. Well, the natural ones. Nothing puts an insect repellent to the test like paintballing in the woods at the height of tick season. Or I suppose a really bad tee off in a mean cross wind.

No worries - I do like it if I'm in the mood. Most of the time though I've started my day with half a pot of coffee and tunes that resemble a box full of rusty sheet metal being fired through a tree chipper on to a train wreck..
