I don't see any reason why we can't have an event in honor of the episode. It's Halloween, and it's a really fantastic episode! I honestly would have zero problems re-watching it and experiencing all the fun again on Halloween (If I'll be able to that day). And even though some people have already seen it, that doesn't mean the fun should be denied to those who haven't, or still want to enjoy the episode again. I'm sure those who have truly enjoyed the episode would love to see it again on Halloween.

I probably won't be home to see it on that day either. I'm working in a professional haunted house this year, and chances are Halloween is going to be a very, very busy day.

I'm glad that you did enjoy the episode, as I also thought it was very well done. However, Fluttershy being scared of Pinkie's activities can be very resonable. This is Fluttershy diving head first into a holiday that's pretty much a whole other culture she knows almost nothing about, and is far from used to. It was very easy to tell how unsure of herself she still was at the time, and though she was trying to hide it, she was quite terrified. When you're in that position, it's very possible for your mind to jump to the worse case scenario and blow every little possibility out of proportion. As someone who suffers from anxiety in a very similar way that Fluttershy does, It's very easy to let your mind make things and situations appear much more scary and harmful than they actually are; even if you have a full understanding that there's nothing to worry about.

Maybe I'm just overthinking things, but it's simply may take on the subject.

The way she was portrayed in the first half is actually a very common trait for those with Samhainophobia (the fear of Halloween). For one minute, they can be cool as a cucumber, then when the Halloween season roles around, they can instantly become a nervous wreck who won't even go outsde to get the mail. And given the way Fluttershy was left hanging during "Luna Eclipsed", it would actually be very Out Of Character for her to not be freaking out to the point of pissing down her legs, with a conflict that was left unresolved. It provided some nice growth and room for her to start at the bottom, take a few steps up, over shoot to the top, and then find a happy-medium she's comfortable with at the end. The ending definitely took a route that I didn't expect, but Fluttershy was still very much in character from beginning to end; simple as that.

I really hope she does in that episode; it would be so heartmelting to see her enjoy herself on that night. Unlike some of the other commenters, I'm kind of getting the feeling that "Scare Master" might be a Fluttershy episode. It would just be so appropriate, so she could become a master of all!
