Hear hear! Watch "True Grit"; that's acting. Duke is not the stereotype Duke, and he won a well deserved Oscar for it.

And another fantastic film released roughly 5-6 years after Battleground is, Attack. Starring Jack Palance, Lee Marvin, Buddy Ebson, and a tour de force performance by Eddie Albert. RUN, don't walk to see that one...

Excellent review of an excellent film. Great performances by James Whitmore, Van Johnson, and Ricardo Montabaln (sp?) all of whom passed away recently. And I couldn't agree more, if you aren't moved by the "sound off" scene at the end of the film, you indeed have no soul. Or you are a registered Democrat.

We find evidence of our society and culture sinking to new lows every day. The fact that a 3rd rate, talentless, MTV cast-off has the kind of media power that he does, illustrates that we are now at the edge of the abyss. One slight breeze and we're going to topple right off the cliff.

Be frightened. These people are after more than just solidifying their power base and ensuring Lemming support for generations to come. They mean to destroy ALL opposition. It should be more apparent with each and every day. We haven't seen such a display of a power grab since Berlin circa 1933. Yes, be very afraid.

Recall the Chosen One's calling for a Civilian Military Force, and if I remember correctly, the Messiah stated that he believed that his personal Brown Shirt militia should be "just as powerful" as the US Military. The current administration and their supporters now own the White House, the House, the Senate, Unions, the Media, etc. But the one institution they don't own and/or control is the military. With full control of a military or para-military force, these fascists really will be in total control, and then...then...???

What better way to begin chipping away at the military than to scare off any/all potential recruits? This "bill" is simply another tactic among many to weaken yet another American institution and deflect power away from them and too the Federal Socialist Party. When US Military recruitment falls off to nothing, Chancellor Obama will call for his National Civilian SS Force - and he'll get it.
