Lots to love both inside and out of this beautiful BC! My interior favorite is the live edge vanity top in the MB. Outside, the custom hammocks on the dock are the greatest! A close second is that wonderful living wall!

I'm not usually fond of purple in a decorating scheme but the plum in the MB is yummy!

Thanks, all, for your kindness in keeping me from virtually tripping over those steps! I completely missed them in the photos and was surprised to learn of them! Blogging buddies help to keep us on our toes and away from harm! Thanks!

No, I'm not the author. This poem is on a print that I received as a gift many years ago. It has always touched my heart!

Ah, Shelly, love hearing about you remodeling your grandparents' home! We live in our family's 1895 home. Lots of legacy-tons of work! :-) Enjoy the lovely live edge mirrors!

Thought you might enjoy a favorite poem about old homes:

I shall always love an old house
For in those timbers strong
Is love and life and memories
Of children's carefree song.

A house that's used to wind and rain
And a towering oak above
Used to sunshine, laughter and lilacs,
Will protect those who give it love.
