I really like how the BC office displays so many upcycled pieces as decor. The feeding troughs and vintage mail sorter have nice design and function. I too, have a vintage globe on my office shelf. It sat on my father's desk and I remember spinning it as a child. The metal biscuit cutter turned lamp is unique, nothing I have seen before. I love the color of the rustic cart used as an end table. Nice use of vintage pieces making the office feel fresh and still connected to the past.
I'm not much of a napper, Laurie, but I sure do enjoying lounging with a good book! One of my favorite all time spots is anchored in a boat, lightly bobbing up and down-a soothing comfortable motion. Plenty of opportunity ahead for that kind of lounging for the lucky BC winner! I think I would love to try out those great dock hammocks as well! Load them up with extra pillows and I could be set for hours! On a stormy day, you would most likely find me hunkered down in the upstairs sitting room, coffee concoction nearby and either another good book or knitting needles in hand. Lots of great day dreaming to come!
Congratulations Ashley! Best wishes to you in your future as you further your education!
So many nice touches to enjoy! I like the lighted anchor, the use of the vintage fruit labels, the upcycled water skis, and the gorgeous dining table! Can't wait to see more that this beautiful cabin offers! Great job!
Oh Alice, these cracked me up! Love the little gnome powered Honda! We would really put that JD Tango to use here on the farm!
Happy Birthday, Dreamer! Hope you are enjoying your special day!
Yikes...never thought of some one casing your business. My thoughts went straight to the positive-YOU being the luckiest!
Oh, Eugenia, how wonderful that would be for you! We'll all be waiting to hear if you are the luckiest this time around!
I haven't notice their commercials here, lately, Eugenia. I have seen them both online and on TV and they have all been hilarious! Great product, too! I purchased it several years ago for use by my harvest crew. They laughed at first, but when they found out how great it worked they were happy to put it to use! Made harvest lunches much more enjoyable in this old house! :-)
