Lots of great dreaming ahead! Best wishes to you, too, Eugenia27!
I'm excited for this adventure to begin! It will be wonderful to learn more about the Asheville area and watch this cute little bungalow be transformed!
Thanks, Virginia, for sharing Eric Perry's lovely black and white photos! I always enjoys his work! This home seems to have much to appreciate. The outdoor area and furniture is wonderful and the raised pond/water feature is fun. I must say, the Mercedes in the drive made me smile! :-) I'm excited to see more in the full color reveal.
I did see "State of California" printed on the magazine rack in the bathroom photo. But I also noted that on that bathroom's chalk board are the words "sea" and Wash". Just shows that reality can be impacted by perception! :-) We see things based on our own perception of the world...I do know this: what ever the location of the new UO, it will be a fun adventure!
Well It seems us PNW folk are all looking at the photos from the same perspective! My first impression from the funky/fun bathroom photo was Pike's Place, too!
To which awesome Spokane pub are you referring? Just might need to give it a try!
So sorry to hear of your husband's, illness, newfiebliss. The DH is a nice diversion from everyday trials. So is a new puppy, which I am assuming from your name, is a Newfoundland. We've had Newfies in the past-Such wonderful loving family members! We would welcome one again into our family with open arms! They are BIG but so lovable! I'm sure yours will give you both much joy!
I would love to see a UO in the PNW! It's wonderful to have a BC build currently taking place in Idaho! The PNW has some great cities-any of which could be the perfect location for the UO! Seattle and Portland are the biggest, but Spokane has much to offer, too, with arts and entertainment, dining and year round outdoor recreational opportunities.
We've gotten used to not having an attached garage. We deal with lots of critters here on the farm but not bears. They show up at the lake now and again but they seem to shy away from noise.
Thanks for your reply, Woodworker. I wasn't questioning methodology of foundation building, but confused about word use of "rebuilding" the garage. It implied, to me at least, that there could be an attached garage when the new plans clearly show a game room. Can't wait to see how this all comes together! It's sure to be amazing!
