"...On Social Security, he said he supports giving younger workers the option of taking a portion of the payroll tax they pay and putting it into a regulated, professionally managed account — an idea similar to one advanced by Bush that failed after Democrats opposed it as a step toward privatizing the nation's retirement security...."

What is wrong with that statement? It belies a belief in government regulation and "professional management." Pffffttttt!!!!!!

Get the government out of it. Here's the plan: 1. Announce that children born after a date certain have no duty or obligation to contribute to Socialist Insecurity/Mediscare and NO ENTITLEMENT to benefits. This closes the class of people who are or may become entitled to benefits. 2. Permit parents, grandparents, Godparents, anyone to open and freely contribute to a retirement savings account on behalf of the child. No income limits, no social engineering nitwittery. Just allow people to put money aside for the child. Period. 3. Put an army of actuaries to work. Calculate the REAL unfunded liabilities in Socialist Insecurity and Mediscare. Set about allocating the existing funding.......heavily to those who are or are very close to retirement and have no time to accumulate additional savings, less to those who have a their prime earning years ahead of them.

This is not rocket science. Stop the runaway train. Deal with the mess. There is no point in trying to deal with the funding issues while the train is careening down the track.......

"The GOP nominee also laid out his economic plan, which he said will include deep cuts in state spending and reductions in corporate tax rates."

Nice antics with semantics.....what are your plans with respect to broadening the base of the corporate tax? Do you intend to simultaneously reduce the rates while broadening the base? Will your plans take more or fewer nominal dollars from the corporate treasuries?

Remember: "Corporations don't pay taxes, people do." If you really want to improve the business environment in PA, eliminate the corporate tax. It is a disingenous way to tax the people without their knowledge or consent. Tax the people directly. Leave the job creators alone.

The Republicans should nominate Herman Cain: http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=181961

This is what I've said for years: "One of the tactics of the Left is the assumption that 50 percent of the American public is clueless and makes all of its decisions based on sound bites and pretty speeches," he explained. "They're right. The biggest challenge for the GOP and conservatives will be to educate people. This is why the Left is trying to demagogue talk radio, Fox News and WorldNetDaily."

Dear, dear, Ray......... Your "father" never should have put you in that position. I'm sorry your Mother didn't have a gun. If a few of these abusive SOB's wake-up dead, I'm willing to bet there would be less abuse. Let me repeat: YOU NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THAT POSITION. Perhaps there is a distinction here between justifiable homicide and murder. And I'd like to suggest that had you been successful, I wouldn't have charged you.....had I been DA.

Yup. He supported sending billions of aid to africa to fight aids. He saw it as a moral duty. He believes that government is a tool of implemention.......he believes in "social justice." He's a "compassionate conservative" and I believe he would have declared healthcare for all "a moral right." He was an economic nitwit.

Now answer my questions.

Face facts.......every now and then you are WRONG, AGAIN..........STILL!!!! GET USED TO IT.

LOLOLOLOLOL............

Seriously now, I'm not excusing the act. But if we try him as an adult, should we seek the death penalty? Do we put a child to death? Do we wait until he's 21 to put him to death? This is a moral dilemna. A child does not have the impulse control of an adult. There is no doubt it was a heinous act....but no 11 year old has the reasoning ability or impulse control of an adult. I do not think it just to try him as an adult.
