As a consumer I quit listening to Dan Patrick's radio show because he had Olbermann on as a frequent guest, even after his MSNBC move. Patrick now has a non ESPN affiliated show but I do not listen to it at all so I can't say if Olbermann still appears on it.

In the age of Obama the path to success is open only to the truly ugly Americans. Lopez is ugly on the inside and outside and filled with stupid.

ESPN is very selective in how they publicly deal with firings and suspensions, so I expect these jock sniffers to release an apology today. Probably not egregious enough to warrant mention on the t.v. or radio networks though. Dragging Rices name into it might be the one unforgivable detail that prods them to take serious action.

The Stand is more a battle of good vs. evil that takes place after an epidemic and being taken from a Stephen King novel (one of his best) is less a medical drama than a supernatural or horror yarn. Pretty well done and worth a viewing, maybe more so if you don't have the story fresh in your mind from the book to compare it to.

Barney Frank and Obama avoid quoting Lou Reed in public, but will hum Walk On The Wild Side in a bus station men's room if you tap your foot for rhythm.

Human Events says they raised nearly a billion before the government stepped in. I guess the answer is practice and determination,
