It's hard to say at this point if this was a DOJ-initiated straw purchase or another criminal element involved instead. We can't assume that every gun crime in or from Mexico is the result of guns that were walked by the ATF.

The DOJ needs to come clean on exactly which weapons were walked and their serial numbers so it can be determined which crimes they are liable for. If they can't come up with a list, they are either in contempt or so inept at their jobs they should be fired.

This is getting to the point of grand standing by Issa. Start pressing charges NOW if the DOJ refuses to cooperate. They are legally bound to comply.

There is a lot of good information in the article, but a proof-read and edit would help make it easier to read.

It would be fairly easy to make them put their investments in a blind trust while they are in office, and possibly for a set time after they leave office.

Criminally prosecute any caught gaming the system by giving out tips to family members or friends just like they would any of us.

But hey, that works just fine for the Chi-Coms and the North Korean governments, why wouldn't we want the same thing here?

Not according to what I have researched, as the current "safe harbor" rules would be removed under SOPA.

It is not the intended purposes of the law that most would argue with, but the unintended consequences that are bound to occur.

Economically, the Big Hollywood movie studios love the legislation, but the small forum operator, for instance, couldn't keep up with the expense of making sure every post or link on their site didn't violate some copyright somewhere. The onus to prove any offending links or material have been removed also does not fall to the accuser, but rather to the site operators themselves.

This legislation is a real danger to free speech. Imagine how easy it would be to silence sites such as Big Government. All it would take is a post in the comment section that is deemed by a government bureaucracy (and their Hollywood cohorts) to be infringement. With the stroke of a bureaucrat's pen, the site will be legally have to be blocked by all service providers in the US.

The RINOs in the Republican party have been working hard to convince the TEA Party freshmen that what the people really wanted was for them to work with Barry, Nancy, Harry and crew to compromise their election promises and keep the status quo.

The status quo has been very good to these career politicians.

The people need to keep voting the big government people out of office. It took over 100 years for the progressives to strangle the heart out of the US by trampling the Constitution. It will mean a long hard fight to get real conservatives back in office.

At near $20 for a Monopoly game, that would be a bet that I'd have to consider carefully.

Those of us that are forced to pay taxes might already have an idea.
