Good point, Marc. I don't want to be consulted before every play in a game or be asked to help plan practices but from the outside looking in right now ,all we know is there are plenty of mysteries and no W's. If there are legit reasons behind these decisions why can't the coaches just tell us what they are?
We're cash strapped because there's no love for the program from the boosters nor future boosters. You want to get a T. Boone Pickens style booster, you need to start by building some trust and faith in your program and staff. Right now I'm afraid my $400 million donation will be used to keep secrets and lose games. Thanks, but no thanks.
No doubt about it, one of the more depressing games we've had to suffer through as Buffs. The one bright spot had to be Scott though. 85 yards isn't a huge game but its the best running we've seen him do since he came to CU. Of course, this comes on a night when our punter was our 3rd leading rusher.
I got a pretty good indicator of the CSU fans' level of confidence today when my CSU-grad coworker brought me the 6 pack of beer we bet on the game and said, "I knew I'd have to pay up anyway so I figured you might as well have it for the game." I love starting the season with a big win.
If he can average even just half of the 15.6 yards per catch he had at Independence he's going to fill a big gap for us. Once Simas joins we'll have the option to go deep or dump it off and watch the YAC pile up.
