This is a great idea, giantbyker........Inmates (in FL) get the BEST (and FREE) medical, dental, psychiatric care. It's free to them but not for the innocent, hard-working taxpayers, doncha know? They have top-of -the -line gym (exercise) equipment and a law library to die for..........and prison employees are not allowed to even go in the library, let alone use any of the books. And the children whose parents can't afford to feed them 3 squares a day, they can just go hungry. No more free breakfasts or lunches. But the inmates are well taken care of...........so I say put them to work and if they've taken a life, put them to death.
I, too like the way Sheriff Joe handles inmates. They're criminals and if the bleeding hearts don't like the way criminals are treated, let them welcome them into THEIR homes.

This makes more sense and is more dead on than anything I've read/heard so far, IMG. I would still like to know why Gitmo was THE priority immediately upon taking office. Which reminds me, I owe my neighbor a few $$ and if I'm late with the payment, he might not let me be president of our neighborhood crime watch group or something. ;))
I can't really say I miss George (if we're talking about the same George) but I thought of something else that keeps him in a higher bracket than BA. When he said he was going to do something, he pretty much did it, didn't he? I've lost count of the things BA promised that he's already changed his mind about and there's a lot of people (homeless and not) around here that's depending on him taking care of them. I missed that speech I guess because no one around here seems to have heard from him. ;))
I feel like I'm living in a nightmare. From one day to the next there's a major event (or more!) that seems to be taking this country down and it's on a fast track.

I'm afraid you're right, Gregory. Pelosi calls us UN-American and Hillary says it's our fault that Mexico has so many murders, kidnappings, etc. Sheeeeeeeesh!!! I've been at work and at home! Maybe if more folks were working and staying home, there wouldn't be so much violence, eh??

I'm continuously amazed that the biggest worry is whether or not the courts will decide something like this. I believe it was decided a very long time ago. But then does anyone read the Bible any more?

I told my husband when we first heard about the black man shooting 4 white policemen that there would be some who would try and cause a stink about it.......and they (I'm sure) will expect Obama to see it their way. People here in N. FL are just waiting for him to 'take care of them' 'like he promised'. Now, do you believe that?????? GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

LOL That's ok, RoxannaDanna..........I read it, too. ;)) I think we should forget about 'parties' and put a good, hard-working AMERICAN in the White House...along with enough good, hard-working AMERICANS to run this country with the help of all GOOD, HARD-WORKING AMERICANS. Term limits..........for an honest person, 4-8 years would be enough, doncha think??? GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
