Considering the report came from Greenpeace, I would trust a thief with my wallet before I trust them with the truth. Greenpeace hates nuclear power because *gasp* it means cheap energy and prosperity. Greenpeace hates prosperity because it means, in their twisted minds, we are harming mother earth, their goddess.

You must remember, the earth knows the difference between CO2 from humans and CO2 from natural sources. Or so the thinking goes from those pushing the global warming scare. The earth emits more CO2 in one year than humans do in 100 years. And yet our tiny amount is somehow causing global climate disruption.

It is time for Mt. St. Helens to wake up too. The earth is already beginning to enter its 30 year cold cycle, this is the transition period. If these volcanoes start going off, they have the potential to cause another year without a summer. Global cooling is a worse threat than global warming can ever be. Global cooling means shorter growing seasons and thus less food and thus much higher costs of living for everybody.

When all you have is hamburger, you don't know how good steak really is. When you can have all the steak you want, you don't want hamburger. Soccer is hamburger. American football and basketball is steak. Soccer is a good workout, and nothing else.

But but but ... our dear enlightened leader-god told us the economy was getting better. I'm so confused? Who should I believe? Our leader-god or the actual numbers?

Give me a break. The New York Times (or was it the Post, I forgot which New York paper) recently mocked those who did not believe the economy was recovering. "How can you not believe the economy is recovering?" was the title of the article. How? By looking around that is how. You can say the economy is recovering and you can make fun of those who don't believe the economy is recovering, but you cannot change the fact that the economy ain't recovering.

Yeah, why not? After all, they managed to pass one illegal bill illegally. Why not go for another illegal bill? Welcome to the new communist America, where the eco-commies and "enlightened" democrats make millions and have all the power, while the rest of us peons are forced to redistribute our wealth to poor people and poor nations and then we have to live in tenements and stand in line for meat and toilet paper.

The difference is, man-made global warming is falling apart right now. The MMGW crowd is looking like idiots blaming anything and everything on human CO2, from acne to WW4. (http://www.numberwatch.co.uk/warmlist.htm) The MMGW is getting desperate because of Climategate and the fact that nature is not cooperating. But eventually the MMGW scam will fall apart. The eco-commies want the power and money as fast as they, because the window is closing fast.

Want to be rich? Blame something bad on global warming. It can be anything. It will be picked up realclimate.org and proclaimed as Gospel and governments will fund your study. Big Environment has less scruples and more money than Big Oil. How sad is that?

Here is my imitation of a Democrat:

"Banks paid a lot of bonus money."
D: "MORE TAXES!"

"People don't have health insurance."
D: "MORE TAXES!"

"I have to go to the bathroom."
D: "MORE TAXES!"

"The economy is down."
D: "MORE TAXES!"

"How do you feel today?"
D: "MORE TAXES!"

"Won't insane business taxes be passed on the consumer?"
D: "MORE TAXES!"

"I was in a traffic jam today."
D: "MORE TAXES!"

Ugh ... and yet when, not if, their dumb ideas don't work, they will still blame Bush somehow someway.

Wait wait wait wait ... Why would America attack Cuba? What possible gain is there? I guess thinking ability isn't a requirement of a communist leader, just the ability to manipulate the majority.

Of course, America, Europe, and Canada are slowly turning into communist Cuba, minus the embargo. Europe is ahead of Canada which is ahead of the US. You have socialize healthcare paid for by ultra high taxes. You have suppression of free speech. (For example, don't you dare say God hates gays in public, that is a HATE crime! Even if you read straight from the Bible. I'm not joking and I am not being sarcastic. However, call a white male a derogatory term is not a hate crime.) You have governments trying by any way possible to get more power. That has been mostly through climate change scare tactics which are now falling through since honest scientists are speaking up and exposing the lie. And the fact that people see that if you made pure random choices on future weather, you would be more accurate than the doomsday models. (I'm not joking.) Given enough time, we will also be communist Cuba. If our extreme left-wing leaders don't do it, the UN will. If not by climate change, something else. Why would Obama or any president attack a country which is our model?

Just think, one day we will hold military games to protect ourselves from the capitalist army of China. The way things are going, China will be more capitalist than America and America will become as destitute and poor and stupid as Cuba.

Get ready, comrade. Our enlightened leaders at the UN will see that we redistribute our wealth to poorer nations because we had the audacity to make life better for us. The shame of it all! Soon we will all eat government issued gruel while we wait in line for government approved eco-friendly carbon neutral toilet paper. Only the enlightened people, that is to say the leadership of environmental groups and left-wing politicians, will be allowed to live this easy life because only they have the understanding, in their infinite wisdom, to live a better life. The rest of you must be equally destitute for the greater good of mankind. Get ready, comrade. It won't be long now and people will welcome it with open arms.

Actually, net neutrality is different. It is a mandate that all internet data be treated equally so that no one can stifle your data for any reason. Opponents to net neutrality want to, ultimately, slow down or block the competition's servers while at the same time giving priority to servers that pay the ISP money or that the ISP likes. Net neutrality will prevent slowing down high-bandwidth activities like YouTube and Netflix's online movie viewing feature. Since all data is treated the same, it will force ISP and managers of the internet to upgrade to satisfy the new demand. Yes, that will mean some higher costs to subscribe to the internet. But it means that no matter what you do with the internet, nobody can or will attempt to slow it down.

Only lazy telecoms who stand to lose a lot of money are against net neutrality. Remember, data is not a person.

Yes. Nuclear has so many safeguards, it is safe. In fact, with new reactors, it is more likely for the sun to stop tomorrow than for a reactor to have a meltdown. Seriously. Furthermore, the US has a good supply of nuclear fuel. Nuclear fuel is also cheap compared to other forms of energy. Electric cars aren't going to run on hope and dreams. Electricity can break the dependence on oil, but only if we have enough. The only viable option now, or for a long long time, is nuclear.
