1_1: Today's first, and quite probably last, DIM BULB!! You see, the headline ("Jeff Bzdelik watched CU Buffs from afar") is generally indicative of the content of the piece that follows. In this case, it's college basketball and a former coach. No terrorists, no presidents, no peace prizes. Just basketball and coaches. It's difficult to cast no light whatsoever on a subject, but you have succeeded in doing exactly that.

The highway is open. What part of this three-sentence "report" has you all so puzzled? What about the last one: "There is no further information available at this time"? Is that a show-stopper for you? Bleeth and Mac and Lax, casting no light whatever, are today's DIM BULBS!!

Yes, it was all the things Jaakovw and Sherm say it was and wasn't. But it was also, importantly, before the doomsayers and the killjoys and the crepehangers like these two came along to steal the joy out of even the faintest warm memory with their Chicken Little imitations. That's why they are today's DIM BULBS!!

Just how slow does the "news" day have to get at the Camera for this hunk of balogna to lead the column? Surely something else happened today.

If you have been that parent or that student, you know why it matters, why it's not just a football game. If you are not, you're just blowing smoke. This is a Boulder tradition dating back nearly 50 years. You can make it a feminist issue, or a parental issue, or school-admin issue, if you must. But it simply proves that you don't know diddly! You cast practically no light on the subject. That's why you are today's (combined) DIM BULBS!! Enjoy your day. You deserve it.

That's a good question, imperm. However, like your entire post, it has nothing to do with the issue presented in the editorial. You cast no light on the subject; in fact, you create a black hole from which no light may escape. None!! That's why you are today's DIM BULB. Nice job. Enjoy your day. You've earned it.
