The irony is delicious. You were punked by an unethical dishonest journalist into talking about your site which exists to combat unethical dishonest journalism. Love it!
(Big Soros? Seriously?)

"A RINO is better than no R at all." I thought that when I voted for Arnold and boy was I wrong. Never again. That attitude is what has gotten us where we are today. Republicans had the majority for only two years and they blew it because they didn't stand on principle. Now Queen Pelosi is cramming Obama's socialism down our throats as fast as she possibly can. You Party hacks better get used to the new reality. Conservatives aren't going away , we are paying attention, we are the majority of American voters, and we won't support RINOs.

" I still can't quite believe we will sit by as this crisis is used to hand control of our economy over to government. "

We're not going to sit by, Stuart, count on it. Information is power, people. Congressman John Culberson is on Twitter. He keeps saying the networking media is the answer to get around the drivebys. I think he's right. MySpace, Facebook. Blogspot, Twitter, wherever you are connected, get the word out. Obama may not care about being re-elected, but Reps and Senators sure as heck do. They can be pressured. Those of you with Democrat Reps flood their phone, fax and email, picket their offices, the Blue Dogs are turnable. Those of us with Republican Reps encourage them. Pray for a banker who is willing to call Obama's bluff and challenge this in the media and in court. Obama can't handle opposition. There are nearly half a million people on this site alone who oppose him to the depths of our soul. Use Daniel Hannan's speeches and John Rich's song Shuttin Detroit Down. The ball is rolling folks, and it's picking up speed. Be strong and courageous and pray for our nation.

Due to their enslavement in thrall to the Religious Right socons, a majority of people now consider the Republican Party to be the anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-teaching-evolution-in-public-school-science-class party. As long as this fetid albatross is not cast from around their necks like the electoral millstone that it is, Republican will remain a marginalized minority party. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
We will retain our social issues because they are based in religious faith. The founders intended the Constitution to govern a moral people. Our economic principles stem from our moral principles. The two cannot be seperated. McCain tried to be a social conservative and an economic liberal. Didn't work. Here in blue California they vote for economic liberals but uphold social conservatism, eg Prop 8 and Prop 187. You chide us about the so called religious right while Obama makes most of his money from the far left and makes decision after decision to pander to them. You're not a Republican. What do you care what we do? Take your advice to your own side.

You don't really want to debate? Then perhaps you shouldn't have posted a comment. How is it possible to call yourself a conservative if you are pro abortion? We have four defining principles. Number 2 is respect for life. You can't get to 3 and 4, less government and personal responsibility, if you don't agree with 2. That leaves you with 1, respect the constitution. If you only agree with one out of four conservative principles that makes you a liberal. Whether you are "rabidly" for killing babies in the womb or "just" for killing babies in the womb is a justification, not a distinction. The bigger argument is about teaching, defining, and explaining why our principles work and theirs cause great harm, rather than telling people what they want to hear to get their vote and then doing what we want after the election like Obama is doing. A strategy which obviously doesn't require principles.

"common prosperity"?? Didn't Karl Marx write that phrase? I can't tell you how uninterested I am in ensuring "common prosperity". I'm interested in my family's prosperity. The rest of you need to take care of your own families. Problem solved. Also, could we go for 24 hours without having to hear from the President? I'm so sick of the sight of him I can't even take seeing his words posted on Gretawire. He's like a parent that keeps coming into your room to lecture you. OK! I heard you the first time! Leave me alone why don't you?

Chief, this is brownshirt Bandit reporting in, number 20 just put recyclables in the trash can, number 23 put twinkies in her kids lunchboxes, and the guy in 28 is smoking in the back yard. This neighborhood is out of control. Send in the SWAT team.

(Raccoons are cute but very dangerous. They are completely fearless going after cat food and trash in garages and through doggie doors. They kill cats and small dogs in our neighborhood all the time. I don't mind being mean to these three.)

Apparently in New Zealand they don't care if you can read or write either. Thanks for the effort, steveso, but I don't think you're quite ready to "wright" a book.
