Andrea, I'm in total agreement with you. I hate when people allow their political views to obscure common sense. Like with me (a total hardcore Liberal), I hate when people refuse to admit that Obama is a corrupt, do-nothing failure. Then I look at Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid as representatives and I want to slit my wrists. Geez....Barney Frank???? The guy had a gay lover running a brothel out of his apartment, was sleeping with a guy from Freddie Mac (who he was helping to legislate), has a new lover with a pot farm in his backyard, and single-handedly forced the mortgage crisis to move forward.

It's so embarrassing that I can barely tell people I'm a Liberal anymore. There isn't one of them that isn't corrupt or hopelessly incompetent. And as a lifelong Liberal I can assure you that most Liberals agree with me. {/sarcasm}

There would still be some skits, they would just be a different level of mean (remember John Goodman as Linda Trip?). Their obsession does point to how much they fear her (which in part is because she's attractive physically as well as having an endearing manner of speech).

It is interesting, however, that the two topics that will always bring out trolls who don't appear on other threads are Palin and O'Keefe. Isn't that interesting?

I don't think that's an unfair criticism. Facebook is a great way to get your message out to millions of people at once, so she's smart for doing it. On the other hand, Facebook and My Space are mostly frequented by kids being dumb kids, so it does open her up to obvious jokes. Personally, I think she should have done her own blog (or written for someone else) in addition to her Facebook posts. It's been almost a year, and I'm still waiting to hear who she respects in the Conservative community (besides Reagan, who EVERYONE says they love) or more in-depth policy ideas. For me, it's Krauthammer, Steyn, Goldberg and VDH. They are so smart, if I don't agree with one of them I assume I must be wrong somehow.

Has anyone else noticed that any post on any of the Bigs (or Tucker's Daily Caller) is immediately inundated with Liberal trolls who post over and over? Are there people who watch out for this stuff then alert the Daily KOS or something?

Too weird.

"I’m talking Barney Frank-level criminal. Why isn’t he in federal prison, by the way?"

Probably because he'd enjoy it too much?

That's because they were listening to the chip they implanted in your brain and decided to do it as a way to cover up McCain & Obama's involvement with the Tri-Lateral commission (which was approved by the Free Masons). It all has to do with Area 51's involvement in Bush committing 9/11 to help Dick Cheney's old company make more money.

They're diabolical geniuses.

It's not that I (or others) "fear" what Liberals/Progressives have to say. It's a matter of being heard through the noise. The majority of Americans know practically nothing about politics that they don't hear on their local news. The people fighting over issues are what's left over, and they have to find ways to get their message out to the masses. The MSM and Hollywood are already inclined to defend the Left and attack the Right. When they are handed the opportunity (like with the Birthers), it damages the Right's (or just people who aren't Left) ability to make legitimate and common sense arguments that could sway public opinion. The Tea Party has a great format to air their grievances (ones that are widely shared), but we all saw how easily they were discredited to the majority of Americans by a hostile MSM. It's vastly more difficult to get your message out when 9 out of every 10 statements the public hears is negative.

The Birther thing has a legitimate point at it's core. Obama has gone out of his way to flaunt his disinterest in following the traditional methods of vetting (political, economic, and personal). However, they've gone from making that point to sounding more like OCD sufferers who can't accept the most logical argument, no matter who makes it. They are then used to make the point that people who oppose Captain Transparency have nefarious motives instead of real concerns about the direction of government. Even if the final score is a tie, the net result is positive for Obama because most of America doesn't get to hear a clear representation of the concerns. There's a reason why it's important to have a disciplined, easy to understand message. Having conspiracy theorists as a part of that message does nothing but make it more difficult to get it to the people it's intended for.

And as Breitbart pointed out, it's an issue that is already lost. Nobody likes the team who can't stop complaining about the officiating being bad after the game is over.

I don't have a problem with questioning why there is such secrecy with Obama's past, the problem is that the Birthers have destroyed the ability to ask. By merely posing the question, you are lumped in with the lunatics who insist it's all some convoluted conspiracy. I think there are unsavory things in his past that he doesn't want brought to light, so he is secretive about everything. That way all questions can be attached to the, "I don't believe he's really an American" mindset. It's the best way to avoid having to address things that might make him look less like the Moderate Pragmatist he pretends to be.

Perez Hilton called, he'd like to say you're a little too much of a drama queen for his tastes.

How funny is it that after all the ridiculous posturing by the Leftists, the Tebow ad couldn't have been more moderate in tone. Great idea for a great ad. Just a short look at the lives of two sweet people. Liberals must be kicking themselves now for giving the ad so much attention.
