Propaganda, also known as mud-slinging, in my opinion, is wrong, morally, economically and otherwise. our politicians need to stop trying to de-moralize each other and concentrate on their own ideas of how they believe they can do better without attacking the other. So, instead of saying "My oponant is guilty of this or that," they should speak of one anothers' good point in their debates and further it by saying," Buth i have other suggestions on how to handle the situation." All propaganda does is give politions control on how we should hate the opposing candidate. Letr each candidate do that for themselves.
It should really depend on the student. Is he/she intelligent enough to graduate in two years rather than four? That is the inquisitive direction such a debate lead to. Also, as Sun Tzu said, can they abide properly to the proper authority, such as teachers, bosses, etc.? Those who cannot will need aid in learning how to abide with said authorities, otherwise, all the deucation in the world could be wasted, wether or not the student can academically pass in as little as two years.
Yeah. That works so well for our own country. Letting politicians further regulate the way we vote, giving them even more control over us. Why shouldn't countries, whose governments' already have more power over their citizens, take that much more control over them?
Should we fear 12/12/2012? Uh, gee, I don't know. Should we have feared Y2K? Nope to both. It's just some scare tactic based on some ancient Mayan calender. I'm not afraid.
Heaven and Hell are two sides of the same coin.
If there is a god, he's an evil basterd. Why else create a race of being who finds pleasure in killing each other?
The same way stories and evidence ove dinosaurs did.
It's all up to the individual, really. Can the person handle fame and fortune, always being in the public eye, always being looked to to uphold a certain imge and attitude? And money, let's talk about that. I believe money destroys lives for those who are not famous. just imagine how baad it is for those who are. They have seemingly infinite amounts of it ( though, in reality, most of what a celebrity makes gets divied out to film companies, agents, lawyers and thier agents). Life as a celebrity, I imagine, can be hell on the individual. Remember, there is more to being a celebrity than what we all see. And, yes, that can destroy thier lives.
For those who take these slogans litterally, shame on you. Slogans should only be read and represented hypothetically and/or metaphorically. Do you really believe anythin short of scientific gene tampering can give people wings? I don't, so, I interpret it to say, "gives you an extra boost of energy". Don't take corporate slogans literally
